Good: The servos are light and handle extended servorates (ca. /- 130pcnt)
Not so good: They are not so strong. Compared with the Blue Arrow 3g metal gear servo (www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__41919__Blue_Arrow_3g_High_Speed_Digital_MG_Micro_Servo_50kg_06sec_60deg.html) these servos are much weaker. So consider to choose the 3g servo, it is not much heavier but much stronger but costs a little bit more.

Weighs 3.0g with contact and cable but without servo arm/screw. Very slow compared to TGY-D1290P. Centers well, but with noticeable slow-down when approaching the desired position. I would certainly not refer to this servo as a "high-speed"! Bought two as spares for my D1290Ps, thinking that these would fit directly into the R415 RX. They do, but you have to exchange the white and black cables first. The cables can be pulled out of the white plastic connector by carefully lifting the thin white retainer plastic bars (that hold each cable connector in place) and gently tug at the corresponding cable, then carefully pushing them back in and make sure they lock in place. Will not buy them again because D1290P weighs the same, is a lot faster and stronger and also holds the position much better when submitted to force. The only hassle with D1290P is that you have to exchange the connector (it has the wrong pitch), e.g. for these: MOL125F-LEAD (I did this by soldering and using small diameter shrink tube for isolation). But I think the extra work is really worth it. This review actually became an advertisement for the D1290P... :-)

I use a Rx Fr Sky, model TFR6M with micro connectors in a Galaxy from HobbyKing (indoor model)
