So cute Heli. I got this as 72Mhz. I set it up hardly. Be careful all trims of the transmitter (only throttle is close) are in the middle before opening the transmitter. Otherwise you can't set it up correctly.

Hi.

Would it be possible to fit this heli with a (Futaba 2.4GHz) radio?

Would it be possible to fit this heli with a (Spektrum AR6200) receiver of my own?

I guess this is not really a beginners heli... but most beginners helis come with their own TX, which I consider a waste. I'm not really aiming for 3D, but on the other hand, I think coaxials are plain ugly...

I forgot to mention this. I am flying the heli on 36MHz, so anyone using this frequency (ie Australia) should have no issues. You just need to buy a 1/2 size 36Mhz crystal on your Tx's frequency.

Cheers,

This little beast flies!

Nov 14, 2007

I got this little heli flying. I had to rearrange the servo connections to match channel assignments and adjust the pitch linkages to get the blades tracking. Some fiddling with the mixer to set the tail up and away she went. I get about 8mins from the supplied 250mAh lipo.

It's flies well and is surprisingly stable, but it has limited tail authority. Still, it's fun to fly inside when the weather prevents flying outside.

Cheers,

red
