With a low electronic impedance and precision movement, these low profile servos are designed for high-performance F3A precision aerobatic use. They are also a great choice for moving mechanical retract gears in a realistic manner.

The servo will automatically learn the user''s transmitter pulse timings and lock into the signal every time. The servo also includes a signal buffer in the CPU with fail-safe functionality. The motor is wound with 2PEW thin coated wire for better electrical conductivity and is able to withstand over 120° C without degradation.
The servo comes with an accessory package and the universal JR/Hitec "S"

Features:
• Metal Gear
• Double M9.6 ball bearing (si-oil)
• 3 pole high-torque motor with low RF noise (CE certified)
• Rubber seals for waterproof case
• Futaba compatible 25 tooth output splines
• Heavy duty servo case
• Digital control IC - SOP package with 12bit data transfer
• MOS-FET motor driver chips that can handle 7A peak loads
• Digital motor drive with ultra-square PWM signal

At first glance, it seemed perfect. It was purchased 5 units. Unfortunately during operation showed that the vibration increases current consumption of up to 1A or more per servo. Due to the current consumption necessary for powerful on-board power supply, so they had to change to another brand .. with which no such problems. Other companies servo under the same conditions required only to 0.4 A current. Do not trust the current consumption, in addition it requires very frequent on-board battery charging.

I have bought 3 of them for Tucano 60. Two are used for retracts (with "Turnigy 3 Channel Servo Speed/Direction Regulator" from HK) and one for elevator. Powered from 6V regulated and Assan X8 R9 9Ch 2.4GHz Receiver. I have noticed to issues with that configuration:
1. BMS servos love to buzz. Even not loaded and centered they make sound most of the time.
2. Elevator servo do not initialize after powering on (behaves like dead) unless I move the stick all the way to extreme position. After that servos "wakes up" and works normally.

These two issues could be compatibility issue with Assan Rx as these servos work normally with other receivers (analog and digital) and servo tester. Other servos I have (analog and digital) work normally with that Assan 9ch Rx.
I will keep these servos for gear as they always start with extreme position (gear is up or down), but one will go away from elevator as at "low rate" the servo does not "wake up".

Bought 5 of these for a 26cc yak. The weight vs performance is amazing, and they center really well, and are fast and torqy. replaced a bunch of hitec metal gear servos with them. Took my yak from 9lb 4oz to 8lb 13 oz. The gears are loud, the motors ar vary strong and way under geared so they are hard to turn by hand and feel grindy. The greas inside sucks, hardly any, i cleaned it out and put in heavy machine greas and it smoothed them out a lot

Just bought 2 of these to try out. Only tried bench tests so far.

@ 5.3 volts - a little noisy but not bad for metal gears.

No load - rotating - .4 amp

1kg/cm load - static .4 amp rotating .4 amp

2kg/cm load - static .6 amp rotating .6 amp

5kg.cm load - static .8 amp rotating 1.1amp

No noisier or evident loss of performance under load. All amperages are averages over several cycles. Flight tests next. Very happy with them so far.

Powerfull, fast, responsive and very strong. I have 4 of these on my Pulse 60 XT. These servos have no problem whipping this 8.5 lb. plane through the air.

760DMG servo

Mar 18, 2009

great servo, ideal for tight tail ends on models. Speed and accuracy excellent, good accessories. ordered two of these and both 'sing' quite audibly during operation, more so than other digital servos i've had from HK. Other than that i'm very happy!! Grab them while they're in stock
