Bought one and got the same problem as McClean. For binding no problem but for changing mode it'is really aleatory pressing long time, short time, slowly, rapidly. What the QC sticker means? Why spending time and money to put this sticker???

The FS/Bind button does not work. I had to use a jumper to jump between the button pads to bind and change modes. Ironically, I had to break the "QC Passed" sticker to fix it.

Once bound, it seems to work just fine.

perfect tiny compact size for mulirotor using the S-Bus option. mine seemed to work fine and bound up with my tx no troubles I just read the instructions 3 times over before I tried it. the only issue I had with it was the tiny instruction page with very tiny writing but I managed and it performs better than expected.

Thanks again HK for a painless transaction.

Got this RX with pushbutton not working. As I can see in other reviews, it seems to be common problem. They should consider NOT placing a "QA passed" sticker on it in future.

I have used this Receiver in a glider and flew as high as I was able to see it and in PPM special Mode on a 450 Quadrocopter without any troubles. Binded in under a second. To change into special Mode just hold the button for 5 seconds and then release it before 6 seconds have passed. When red and green are flashing simply push it again and you're done. Make sure to (re)bind it after every output mode change.
weight with case 7.3g w/o 3.7g
So I am totally happy with it and gonna buy another one :)

I've ordered 4 of the R4FA-SB receivers. One of them was not binding - i could fix this with spraying electronic-contactspray in it (position where the button is). After pressing serveral times it works. But a strange feeling remains, so im using this receiver only for wireless simulator on pc.

The bigger problem was switching to specialoutput mode for sbus and ppm. Its NOT WORKING like descriped in the manual. I tried it a long time, but nothing. Another user told me, he had the same problem. I was very frustrated so i started to test pressing several times long, short, hammering on the button. After 30sec-1minute the receivermode switched from slowly blinking red to fast blinking red. I checked SBUS output, its working. I could bring all 4 receivers to specialoutput mode with pressing stupidly on the button 40sec to 1 minute. I dont know how to do this correctly, the way descriped in the manual is not working!

I don't know if the receivers range and reliability is ok, but the feeling with the descriped problems above is not good.
