Corona Synthesized Receiver 4Ch 35Mhz

Throw away your crystals, say goodbye to glitches! The new Corona synthesized receiver is here!
This unit will work with existing Synthesized transmitters or crystal transmitters. In fact the accuracy of this receiver will improve the performance of all 35mhz crystal transmitters.
The RP4S1 is the smallest and lightest synthesized system available today. This small size does not impact on reception quality or performance as this unit  has the longest range available from any Corona receiver plus a sensitivity greater than 2uV. Tests have shown the range to be more than 1 mile!

The new technology put into the synthesized series of Coron receivers is truely outstanding and will certainly make you think twice about upgrading to a more expensive 2.4GHz.
Take a look at Coronas website for more details;

Have some problem with my graupner MC-10. Lots of noise on each chanel. One time, it lost completely the signal (No signal). After a lot of try to set my frequency chanel, it found it. Now it's working fine but sometime, it's not perfect. Maybe not lucky and it's just a bad receptor. Don't know. I always flight with Corona Synthesized Receiver 6Ch 35Mhz (v2) and never had problem before.

I bought two, they both didn't work with my 1980 Futaba Tx. I suspect a compatibility issue. A friend with a slightly younger Futaba had no problem with a same receiver.

So far it does what it is supposed to do, but I have one big problem, it doesn`t work with the HK i86A flight stabilisation board!
The servos start to stutter very fast in an unusual way, i hooked it up with a other receiver (JR) without problems.
Without the i86A it works fine.

This is a nice cheap and light PLL RX system that makes you postpone switchin to 2.4Ghz system. There is only one really bad thing about these RX systems: the antenna wire is really crappy. I've 4 of these and was forced to teplace the antenna on 2 of them. I'm planning to schedule replacement on the remaining 2 units.
To replace the antenn you will need to cut open the shrink tube and remove the heat glue that fizes the wire to the PSB.
Overall I'm pretty happy with these but the stock antenna makes them loos 1 crown !
