    This unit will work with existing Synthesized transmitters or crystal transmitters. In fact the accuracy of this receiver will improve the performance of all 35mhz crystal transmitters.

    The new technology put into the synthesized series of Coron receivers is truely outstanding and will certainly make you think twice about upgrading to a more expensive 2.4GHz.

    After having success with the 4ch I bought this for my next model. Like the RP4S1-36 I had no problems binding with my cheapy e-go models transmitter or my Futaba 6EXPA, both on 36.310. Range has not been a problem with either of these receivers, though they're only in small park flyers. One possible issue- the antenna wires are very fine. That's great for saving weight but I they'd break easily if you're not careful.

    I now have 4 of these little beauties. All locked in first try on my JR Tx. Very sensitive reciever. Good range. Never had one drop out yet. So much easier than using crystals.

    I have a max 66 and two of these, 2 4 channel and 2 8 channel. They all work fine on my max 66. Make sure you are on PPM mode, not PCM

    Compact 6 channel receiver and nice and light.

    Tip: Don't try and bind to your Tx in PCM, it won't work! Quick and esay binding in PPM.
