Diatone V8.3 LC Filtered PDB Power Hub with 5V and 12V BEC

The Diatone V8.3 LC Filtered PDB Power Hub comes with some great features such as the ability to solder the ESCs onto either side of the PCB. The ESC solder pads have been redesigned from previous boards to make it easier solder on both X and H frames.

The 36x36mm size makes it easy to stack with the flight controller. 2 sets of BEC circuity provides 5V and 12V for using servos, video transmitters, LEDs, etc. Another new feature on the V8.3 board is the addition of an ESC signal channel for easy soldering and neat, compact wiring. The PDB supports 3~6S (11.1V~22.2V).

The new LC filter circuit uses a superior filter inductor and 47uf tantalum capacitor. With a 1A electrical load the 5V ripple is only just 31mV, the 12V ripple is only just 63mV. The camera and video transmitter now have a filtered power source.

Good board, but you better be good at soldering. Pads are very very close! Use a volt meter & make sure no solder bride.

This board is awesome! I use it on two quads, with 3S and 4S lipos. I've never seen a cleaner fpv image before using this thing. One of the most good features is that you can easily use 5v cameras with 12v transmitters with no worries. And using this board the overall setup is much cleaner. This is the best LC filter I've ever used, it's unbelievable because looking at picture you can't really tell if motors are running or not, image is always 100% clean and stable. Tested with 5v/12v sony and fasthark cams (ccd/cmos) and plenty of 1.2G, 2.4G and 5.8G transmitters (including crappy ch clones). It always works perfectly. I strongly suggest everybody to buy this thing. Now.

The best thing about this PDB is not the LC filter (that is good also), but the ESC servo connector to the FC. Direct solder your ESC signal wire to the PDB and then solder the channel signal wire to the FC. For those of us who are neatness freaks......this is perfect!
