Well made and balanced. Does not fit my intended motor so I will have to look around.

had to hammer it on a bit to fit the 3.17 shaft but I appreciate the tight fit as opposed to being wobbly. sound was improved from the 5 blade prop I had and of course it is faster with more thrust. did the poor mans cell phone dynamic balance
running a 4400 kv wicked from dons rc with the mad thrust 40 esc and a 4s turnigy nano tec 1300mah only thing getting over pushed now is the battery. if I push it comes back pretty hot but hey they only run 13 dollars a piece buy more when they are torched

Took a punt on this for a fun project - Fail...
Do the people at Dr Mad know what dynamic balancing is?? This thing settled like a pendulum on by balancer, the Center hub is out of wack.. got it close to being balanced statically but is pretty poor when running. Gave up mucking around with it. Designed for a 2.7mm shaft, I had to drill out the center shaft to put my 3mm motor shaft in it . Took out the thread for the cone screw with it...(my fault).
It's now marginally better than the busted up one I had

Have bought two of these rotors before being able to get a decent sounding result. The bare rotor is VERY eccentric and required filling three of the segments in the hub structure (with hot glue) before it would run true. It appears that the shaft isn't perfectly central. It appears the weight is actually compensating for this deformation, rather than mass distribution.

HOWEVER, once I got it balanced on the second rotor it sounds sweet - never thought I'd be able to fly and EDF in my local park at 6:30 am without upsetting the neighbours!

Running it in the Mini Mig-15 with Mad Thrust alloy housing on 3s with a custom-wound outrunner. Pulls about 20A and gives superb vertical performance.
