Great ARF but be aware that modelling skills will be required to assemble as some modifications are necessary to complete this plane. There are no instructions included - this is somewhat poor. However as this kit is a direct clone of the World Models Unijet, then the instructions for this model can be followed to complete the plane. If you are a beginner with kits/ARF's i wouldn't recommend this as a first build, considerable fettling is required to get this model together. Good value for money all round.

It's a little small and it's going to take a little work to get it up and running, but it is a fun build. It looks great, is built well and is a ton of fun to fly. Would really like to see a 90mm to support a bigger airframe. If you get to far out, the plane gets very hard to see. Other then that, the price is right for what you get. Have fun!

My kit came with faulty fan and shaft adaptor, it took weeks and many e-mails and phone calls to get Hobbyking to come through, then there was none in stock etc, when I finally got replacements, in mean time I lost interest and moved on other projects, now I decided to open the box again and finally put it together, I picked up the wings to start with assembly and upon closer look, they are twisted / warped badly in opposite direction, now I have to make a decision between building new wings for it or just chuck it in the bin and forget about it, as going back to Hobbyking customer support and wait for reply or get something done about it is a major nightmare.

This my very first Balsa Jet...a step up from the 64mm class. Technically its a 70mm class jet (68mm) Kit is really really nicely done, high quality. Not for beginners building...anyone with any model building experience should have no trouble at all...despite no instructions but I not going let that affect the rating for this kit....its common most planes on HK do not have a instruction part the norm. Was alot faster to assemble that I previously first thought... spent just couple days on it(when spare time was available) as people raise questions about how the elevator works....it has a pre-installed push rod tube inside already for both elecator and rudder..so simply slides through yes the instructions from the uni jet was helpful there^^ but close inspection would have revealed the tudes pre-installed already. Flies beautifully just a 40 amp esc, 3800kv outrunner on a 3S 35amp pack or nanos..thing goes fast too, its very lightweight and looks fantastic... rolls fast on high rate and comes in for landing very slow due its near straight -wing jet so very easy to handle for anyone whos flown any kind of EDF before. love it heaps

Nice finishing, needs enforcing several areas (- 1star) ; no manual (-1star) . Can find Manual at http://www.theworldmodels.com/para/instruction/pdf/E272.pdf
Otherwise a beautiful model. Thanks Hobbyking . Hope to have a ARTF model in the future .

well it hase taken two days to sort this one out as the elevator wire is 15 mm short the screw retainers to hold the wings in place have nothing to scew into i have had to cut the film on the wings to fit blocks of wood to screw retainers in to, the body of the plane has a twist in it and as it is ply wood unable to correct this, the wings were they fit to the body have gaps as the ribs are bowed, the trim for the tail top cover fell to bits in my hand made of pore plastic had to cut body to fit the fan but lets hope when weather is better to see how it flys as in the air you wont see the faults !

I got mine 3 month ago.
The tubes for the linkages where stucked with glue or else.
The root spars of both wings were not strait.
HK told me i have to wait for replacement parts from factory.Still no parts here.
Big dissappointment.

I reviewed this product about two weeks ago and it seems Hobby King removed it. It was probably no to their liking.

The problems with the model were not un-fixable but HK is less than honest in their dealings. The adapter shaft was missing, the fan duct did not fit the fuse properly and no build instructions. World Models Uni-Jet is the manual you want.
Hobby King SUX!
