Fits 2x 3S 2200 mAh batteries nicely as expected. With a fully loaded Quanum Nova (brushless gimbal, gopro, 5.8GHz TX, APM telemetry module and all cables) using 9'' CF props one can expect around 12 minutes of safe flying time (10.6v and approximately 300 mAh left in each battery pack) with this setup.

Here's my experience:

It is nicely made and fits well (except screws need to be longer if using camera gimbal). The kit includes two battery cables, two battery straps and some hook & loop tape.

However, I will not be using it on my Quanum Nova. With dual 2200mah Turnigy batteries, mine handled like a pig. It took all of the fun out of flying the Nova for me.

I have modified it and installed it on my S500 quad build. I have yet to test it on my S500, but I expect it will work much better on a larger quad with larger props.

Excellent product. Seems to be over qualified for the job .... Maybe even to suffer very heavy landings and survive. Nice quality, nice finishing, a bit expensive, be sure to tie the batteries properly !!!

Fits easily to the Nova & CX20. A solid platform for extra batteries or FPV transmitters etc.

I have no idea why they even sell this. Bought it optimistically and it ruined the performance of the copter. Almost crashed several times due to the fact that the quad could not recover when descending, hover was at 80pcnt rather than 50pcnt. Piece of crap. Did not extend flight time much due to the fact that the added weight worked the motors so hard. (NOTE: I did not have a gimbal or any other device attached at the time)

Unless you plan on flying very very very slowly and you want to work the motors hard, don't buy this piece of rubbish.

Also found that i was not able to securely attach the gopro mount to the copter as the width of the plate meant the screws barely got any thread and could just be pulled out. Tried with a heap of cable ties and flew successfully but as expected it was even heavier and flew terribly.

Solid glass fiber plate, but the added battery weight is almost unbearable to the Nova. Mine hovers at 70pcnt throttle, and flies like a duck.
Overall: Solid build but lacks practicality.

Overall, this is a great product if you are looking for improved flight times on a base model Quanum Nova. It adds too much weight to be useful with a gimbal and FPV. The mount is durable and of excellent build quality, however the lack of ANY documentation did take away from it. With a Quanum Nova at default settings, which normally gets 7-8 minutes of flight time with a Turnigy 2200 mAh 20C Li-Po got 12 minutes on 2 of the same battery which is approximately a 50pcnt increase in flight times for a 260 gram (~200g battery - ~60g mount) increase in weight. This equates to about 60pcnt throttle to hover. It remains semi-agile but lacks the vertical "punch" of one battery. I will probably not be using this much as I fly more for Aerial Photography but we'll see. I hope this helps anyone thinking of buying this and thank you for reading!

This works very good. Still agile and fun to fly with double batteries.. Only thing that is bad is that with this fittet on the original screws for the camera mount/gimbal is too short.. So you will need new screws if you run a camera on your Nova.
