Back in 2016, the Durafly Tundra took the modeling world by storm. Following the old adage "bigger is better", we then released the immensely popular Grand Tundra. Now, to round out the collection, we present you with the Micro Tundra! Its small size makes it the ultimate park flyer or back yard basher!

The Micro Tundra is available in two color schemes, either the "Classic Green" or the slightly more outrageous and colorful "Graffiti" - both look great on the ground and in the air. This brilliant little model can be flown with either standard wheeled landing gear or with floats and water rudder, both versions are supplied in the box.

The Micro Tundra comes in the usual Durafly Plug and Fly (PNF) format, including the motor, ESC, and 6 micro servos pre-installed, these also include pre-fitted pushrods. The Micro Tundra has working flaps which are unusual to see on such a small model, they are very helpful and great fun for landing in tight spaces. The large main wheels finish off the Tundra look and enable it to easily take off and land on most surfaces. Swap the wheels for the supplied floats and water rudder to turn your favorite local pond or waterway into your Micro Tundra's playground!

Assembly is very straightforward and quick, literally 5 self-tapping screws hold it together so you can be flying within minutes of opening the box. The Micro Tundra is great fun to fly. Being small and agile, it can be flown in very small areas, including indoor venues. For those with a bit of initiative, it's even small enough to tuck away in the suitcase on your next travel adventure!

Micro Tundra

Jan 08, 2022

The 25" Micro Tundra has some challenges right out of the box. Suggest changing the motor thrust angle to reduce or eliminate the plane's tendency to pull hard right on takeoff.

Not a Timber

Jan 01, 2022

Bought over 3 months ago. Came with a bad flap servo. The solution from HK was to send me a replacement (still haven't received it). Changing the servo is going to be a pain. I forced the servo to the flap neutral position and flew the plane. It is under powered and needs more wing (like the many mods on the forums). No where near the performance of the competition.

Micro Tundra

Dec 30, 2021

I was lucky enough to get a Micro Tundra for Christmas along with a Turnigy Bolt 500mah (Lihv) battery. Quick delivery in Australia and excellent packaging. Extremely easy to assemble and the battery fitted without any modification. Centre of gravity seemed spot on so waited for a calm day to test fly. Late yesterday was reasonably good and it flew perfectly, no adjustments needed, very responsive and surprisingly easy, I am no expert flyer but I think it would be suitable for a beginner, low rates would be preferred and keep it reasonably high to get the hang of it. Highly recommended.

Poor quality servos

Dec 08, 2021

Before my first flight I had to replace one flap servo and the rudder servo as they were glitchy and did not function constantly. Hobby King was responsive and sent replacement servos but one of those servos has the same issue.

Great value, poor finish

Nov 11, 2021

First off it's a great price, flies well, and can take a pounding. The downside is it needs 25% more power, tends to tip stall easily, and the paint flakes off very easily. The wheels work better on grass than pavement and you should expect it to tip over forward at end of landing most times

Not great

Oct 10, 2021

Plane looks good. Flap servo failed before I could finish set up. Very low quality servos. HK solution is to replace with servos with backordered Hong Kong stock. I flew the plane without flaps. It’s way under powered, not very stable. Spend the extra money and get a Eflite.

Good and tough little airplane

Sep 02, 2021

Durable little airplane. Underpowered out of the box but fiddling with it to make it fly better is why I love it.
