    Introducing the Durafly Tundra Anniversary Edition, No Limits flying!

     

    Now the ever popular Durafly Tundra comes out in an Anniversary Edition. Besides the great new color schemes, there are a couple of other changes to make this outstanding plane even better. The 40A ESC now comes with the ability to go in reverse. Just a flick of a switch and you can taxi backwards. This is a great feature when on water or land. The big Tundra wheels are now made of a new "stress ball" rubber compound making them softer and more realistic. All the original outstanding features are still used to complete this exciting plane.

     

    From the beginner pilot to the experienced flier this plane will do it all. The Tundra is an extremely versatile plane that is easy to fly and would make an ideal club trainer whilst still being highly entertaining for the experienced pilot with aerobatics and excellent vertical performance. 

     

    Whether it is flying from rough fields, water, snow or sand, the Tundra takes on all with ease. The Tundra has a wide flight envelope making it ideal for FPV flying, aerobatics, glider towing, candy dropping or just good old fashioned super STOL slow flying,

     

    The tough EPO foam construction is beautifully finished with a great look. Its light weight design coupled with a powerful brushless set-up instantly gives you a feeling of confidence on the sticks as quickly as it puts a smile on your face. 

     

    This rugged and reliable plane can also get into those tight and hard to land places with its huge flaps and extreme STOL performance. The large main wheels make it easy to land just about anywhere. Swap out the wheels for the supplied floats and you'll be flying from lakes, streams and other waterways. 

     

    A quick change to the FPV canopy will give you more extreme fun flying. More excitement can be found utilizing the built in tow fitting for towing your friend’s gliders to the best thermals.

     

    Simply put the Tundra is an immense amount of fun to fly and you will be flying soon enough due to a very straight forward and speedy assembly process.

    Excellent value: flies beautifully off rough stubble!

    I am very impressed: the plane was bought to take off hay stubble after hay making: success first time with only 2 to 3 Metres run! It lands easily on the same surface and performs all standard aerobatics. After 15 flights, the only adjustments needed were to straighten undercarriage wires after a heavy landing on a harder strip at the club! This bent one wheel outwards, causing erratic steering! As with the Hyper Bipe the design and performance is very good overall, out of the box.
    Only problem was having to adjust the position of one of the wing PCBs on a wing root and re-glue it.

    Wie immer Tip Top Durafly

    Hatte die Tundra im Angebot für 128 Euro gekauft,für das Geld gibt es nichts besseres .Prop musste etwas gewuchtet werden ,aber sonst alles Super.Motor bleibt nach 1 Minute Vollgas Handwarm .Tundra geht senkrecht nach oben mit 30 C Akkus .Gleich mal einen 60 Ampere Regler rein gemacht und 13 Zoll Prop(13/5,5) drauf ,geht mit original Motor jetzt wie die Sau nach oben.Man sollte aber mit 13 Zoll Prop auf keinen Fall länger wie 30 Sekunden Vollgas geben ,Motor wird sonst zu heiß.Geht aber nur mit größerem Regler.

    Great plane after some changes

    As soon as I got the Tundra I removed the wing PCBs and connected wings with 20cm Y servo cables. I believe it is a must cos the PCBs are the pain in the .... Now it is nice and safe plane. I love it anyway :)

    Nice plane, not too large and easy to assemble (took some time), flaps are great and big wheels too. Colours look great. It's a pity that you can't remove the wings so easily, but I'll try the hack shown in the "videos" tab, that should simplify it. There's no lack of power because you can go vertical without fear.

    Nice looking plane

    After years of resisting, I decided to buy a Tundra for a cold weather and winter plane. The Tundra is very easy to build and went together pretty quick. This is a fun plane to experiment with flaps and is a great sport flyer for the experience flyers.

    I highly recommend this airplane. it was an easy build and was very enjoyable. It is very sturdy and rugged and I'm sure it will hold up well. If you are looking to find and easy build, good park flyer, and all around excellent airplane, this is the way to go. this aircraft is 1000% better than the hobby zone supper cub. well done HK
