Despite having it's design origins in the 1950's, the 310 is a thoroughly modern looking 6 seat aircraft and this superb Durafly model is a great scale representation.

Made from ultra tough EPO foam, this Plug and Fly 310 is a fast and easy model to assemble, the pre-fitted motors and ESC's are already wired in parallel and all servo's are pre-installed and centered. The 1pc wing is removable for easy transport and also features nav lights, as does the tail. The Nav lights are also pre-installed and pre-wired so all you need to do is plug them in! The plug-in scale under-carriage is held in by a clever but secure bracket and when testing this model we found it to be very robust and able to handle the roughest of landing strips. There is lot's of scale detail on offer including the three blade props with matching spinners, detailed pilot & cockpit, ladder, exhaust stubs and so on.

As you can see from our flight test video footage, the Durafly 310 is a fantastic performer with plenty of power on tap, very smooth and predictable in flight and a synch to land. The battery hatch is perfect size for a 2200mAh 3s Lipoly, which gives excellent flight duration, and it's not likely you won't have one or two of those in your flightbox! Good looking, easy to assemble & fly and very robust, this is a brilliant scale model that would make an excellent choice for new pilots that have mastered a high wing trainer, but at the same time offers the more advanced pilot a quality, robust and superb flying sport-scale model that is brilliantly practical and guaranteed to give hours of fun!

Very nice and well built. had a servo that wasn't working but that probably happened in the factory or during postage. I hope for a good day to fly it. cheers.

Excellent model, quick and easy to put together. On it's maiden today it flew beautifully with just a few clicks of trim, looked good landing with its nav. lights on. Using a 3s 2200 battery l flew at half throttle for 7 minutes and still had 40pcnt left.

My experience: Cessna arrived from Nederland warehouse.. assembled.. first problem: queue servos very charged and too little movements.. too much friction in the bowden and to fuselage openings.. oil and cutting some PE.. quite ok. Anyway, the rudder /front wheel servo seem to be too charged.. Maiden flight.. all ok. Looks really a nice plane. Second flight.. after 3? bad noise! Stop all engines and rapid glide landing.. minor damages : problem: Right motor front bearing destroyed!! Ordered new motor and queue servos( L2212 1650KV, plenty of power, and two metal gear 9019MG servos).. provisional repair of bearing with a new one non exactly diameter.. anyway, seems to runs ( for how long?).. Third flight.. before start, try movements.. right aileron doesn't move! Problem: broken gear on servo. Replaced with TG9e.. Now to the next flight.. with fear! Moral: the quality of Durafly electrics seems to be really poor. Until now, replaced two motors, 4 servos, total $ 35...

Its a great plane and easy to handle. I modified it with Turnigy Full Metal Servoless Retracts with Oleo Legs (Tricycle, BAE Hawk type). It can easily land and take off from gras. I put the rudder servo into the tail fin and two elevator servo in the fuselage in front of the elevator. (The reason is the two original servo, elevator and rudder did not work and I want a bigger battery in front. I made battery access on top of the nosecone. Im no using 3s 2600mah battery. 12 min flight.

Flew this plane late this arvo and I must say what a gorgeous plane to look at and fly in the air.
Without a doubt this would have to be duraflys sweetest flying model
It will fly fast or scale slow like its on rails, barrel roll loop and look like it coming in on final to set some passengers down.
Were all pretty spoilt with whats on offer in this day and age however I must say this cessna 310 is love at first fly NO BULL
Tip stalls and bad habits? well there are none however she does like to soaks up a bit of runway on final with the no flaps option so give the small little park a miss for this one.
Everybody is talking about breaking the nose wheel which ok sure could be a little beefer but seriously if you have a nice strip your not going to break it anyway, have done over 20 touch and gos with this plane so far with no issues.
Motors vibrating out of there mounts? well there no evidence of that either, actually there extremely smooth running.
Power wise it will fly scale on nearly a 1/3 throttle or 1/2 in wind or nail it low and fast across the strip and it just sits there like it were on rails
The battery I used was a 2200 3S 30C turnigy the weight is perfect any lighter your CGs would be tail heavy

In Summary this plane is just brilliant good on you durafly
Cheers Stevo

I wouldn't buy this plane again, hard to fly and like many other Durafly models: unusable gears!

This is a wonderful plane, built it yesterday, flew it today, its amazing and graceful flyer goes fast as well yet predictable flight....rolls and loops are not a problem but its most fun just cruising ard and flying scale...the LEDs were a nice touch and especially the wing ones are very bright very scale touch tot he craft....good lander no problems at all, it takes off the ground almost immidiately with the nano tech 2200s highly recommend to any experienced pilot not for armature pilots 10=10 from me

I got mine recently. Plane is easy to fly. I love the counter rotating prop set up. Scale on take off as well as landing. A little light to handle moderate wind condition though.

Overall it is value for money.
