ECILOP Stereo Quadcopter Kit

The ECILOP Stereo Quadcopter self assembly kit has been designed specifically for stereoscopic (3-D) filming from the air. Two GoPro Hero 2 or Hero 3 cameras can be mounted on the long balancer beam ( you will need a GoPro Sync Cable) at the front of the Quad and with the lack of landing skids this gives an uncluttered view for perfect filming. The expanded stereo base gives the effect of 3-D space at a distance of up to 300 metres. As mentioned before the ECILOP Stereo does not come with any landing skids, it does come with a stand for transportation but flying must be carried out by an experienced pilot who can launch and land it manually.

Once in flight the counerbalanced (counter balance provided by the battery) camera arm can be swung down underneath the Quad using a servo (these are modified to become servo drive units) and this will control the pitch of the camera arm, another servo(drive) is connected to the arm to provide roll for the camera mount. Feed these two servos through a gimbal controller or flight stabilization unit for perfect smooth filming.

The ECILOP Stereo Quadcopter kit is the perfect platform for the professional/amateur filmmaker but please remember you need to be an experienced pilot and have the ability to construct the airframe from the assembly kit and do some simple electronic tasks to the servo units.
