It,s great fan , too bad cant take 49mm dia motor .47mm is max that can fit in it . By the way it should be there what dia motor it takes .I just got mine , with a outrunner 6mm shift and dia of 49mm .Guess what this fan wont take 49mm dia motor as i thought it does , so i,m screwed .i got look again to find a outrunner with 6mm shaft and less then 49mm dia
My plan was to get at least 2000W of power for my RCLANDER T-33 ,No i dont fly with in runners , i got my reasons .Take off grass you must go outrunners . For me outrunners are the 4cycle eng , and inrunners are the 2cycle eng .And believe me i,m rite on this .How ever the fan looks great and i,m sure i will get the power that need out it with rite set up .with an inlet cone, 10s, t600 880kv, 3200watts, 89amps, 4.9kg thrust.....not enough?? just bought 2 new 910kv heli outrunner.no mods to the housing or motor to make these fit.Good quality plastic. I wait for the 5mm shaft. Its hard to undo the 6mm shaft without damaging the fan.Some data:

A big and well-built EDF. 102 mm diameter.With a Kontronic Tango 45-08 inrunner (800kv) this fan on 10S 5000 pulls about 56 amps and 1900 watts about 30 seconds in. I pushed my edf modified Haoye F-18 about 95 mph straight and level. I'm going to test a Turnigy 4258 800kv outrunner to see what I get, hopefully the same amp draw but would like a bit more, say 65 to 70 amps for a few hundred watts more power. F-18 was heavily modified with gear mounts and inlet ducting, stock it's bad.The 4-inch edf is a very powerful piece of plastic. When I first felt the weight, I was not sure if my ezrun, 13t 3000 kv motor could spin the heavy fan. However, when I tested the system, (ezrun 13t 3000 kv motor, 35 a esc, and a Turnigy 3s 5800mah 25c lipo battery), I nearly cut my pinky off. The fan was unbelievable. It nearly lifted my entire system off my table. This is not something that kids 13 years and under should mess around with. I befunciona muy correctamente, tan solo que no viene equilibrada....
