inconsitant diameter so clogs nozzel constantly

May 30, 2019

I heard ESun was good so when I saw this on sale, I figured I would try. The diameter was all over the place, from 1.74 to 1.83. it got way to thick in many places and kept clogging my nozzle not worth it at any price. not within tolerance. very disappointing.
Will not buy anything ESun again. too poor of QA to even try.

TRUE allumin(i)um filled PLA, so price is expensive but not exuberant

great filament with REAL aluminium content. prints good on nozzles larger than 0.5 diameter.
printed the gothic lantern with it after I got accostemed with the filament (first prints always clogged cause my temp was to high, first layer to flat (the metal exriched ones need at least a first layer of over 0.25mm), my extr multipl was to low (109 it became on my stock cr10),.. MIND YOU / CAUTION= this filament has a steep learning curve! SO not for beginners...
after some troubles I finetuned it and started printing the gothic lantern from thjingiverse, everybody disencourages me cause boy that model has millions of retractions.... it became a 34 hour print that went almost perfect.. just clogged at 97% ready on the bottom main part but that was no problem as that were the pegs to fix the roof area on, I just switched them with separate (printed) pegs and bore out the half way finished ones ;-) my wife loves the game of throines style lantern
ps VERY hard to sa,d this filament, I gavce up and left the largest part unsanded (the model is all corners and depressions and hard to reach, even at 0.2 layer height printed it wazs a job of days to complete one rib (of the 8...) so imagine.. altough it looks fantastic just like real aluminium when sanded till 2000 grid!
