HobbyKing is excited to be carrying the full range of the ESUN brand of 3D printing filament. ESUN is recognised as one of the world's leading and most innovative manufacturers for 3D additive printing.
The PLA, ABS, Flexible, Luminous and many other types of materials are perfect for whatever application you have in mind. ESUN has established their brand recognition through their quality products and consistency, the filaments have a stable melting point, good round shape and most importantly a 0.05mm uniform diameter tolerance for a consistent flow rate.
PLA has a lower melting point and prints easier than other materials. One of the most important features is that PLA is non-toxic, and even has a sweet smell when printing. PLA has a low shrinkage rate and it is very rigid with minimal flex. This material can print extremely high resolution models and is perfect for a wide range of uses. PLA is considered stronger than ABS but is more susceptible to cracking when flexing, impact or torsional loads so the mechanical needs of the print project has to be evaluated.
PLA has a huge range of vibrant colors and opacity for that perfect look whether it is artistic or utilitarian, in short a great material for 3D printing. PLA can be printed without the use of a heat bead, and can stick to glass or a PCB plate with a binder such as hairspray or white glue for a curl free print.
3D printing is a fun and exciting hobby with a wide range of uses from prototyping parts to making toys for the kids. Picking the right filament for your application is very important. Please visit the ESUN web site for more information as well as the recommended settings for your printer.

The layers don't bond quite as nice as e.g. Esun blue filament. At low temps the filament doesn't melt and extrudes too slow, causing skipping of layers and brittleness, at higher temps the layers it flows too quickly. There might be a temperature sweetspot for this particular filament but I'm starting to suspect that I just got a bad roll since a lot of people are having no issues. Monoprice Mini Select/Malyan M200for me the best pla filament, very fue loose .Prefer use it at 200°c for perfect result. Think to reduce the fan at 50pcntune tres bonne qualite de bobine et fil pla. pas de probleme d'humidite. stockage facil. en impression j'ai aucun probleme. elle est a recommander surtout avec un prix attractifBonne qualit, je fonctionne 250C sur ma Print Rite DiY 3Dreally good filament for the fabrikator, print at 190C for good resultsNot the best - Extruder temparature musst me a little higher for better bonding layers. These values were looking for a cheap and good quality white filaments.
