Great motor for the price. Have used on a scratch built 4ft wing. Runs well with a 9047 SF prop pulling around 15.5 Amps with a 3S battery. 756g of thrust. I have only given 4 crowns for quality as the shaft appears very easy to bend. Mine bent on a slow landing when the prop grabbed the grass with the power totally off.
The best motor in the world. I have maybe 100 different type/brand motors but this one is pure perfection. Easy to repair, easy to rewind, strong and runs efficiently.
very nice motor it is same as Emax that looks like this. doesn't come with prop adaptor. this powers my FT bloody Baron just fine for a beginner
Very good and versatile motor. I purchased it again because works fine in my motorglider (8x4.5 and 7x4 folding prop) and medium size multirotors (10x4.5 and 9.4x4.3 props). Actual motor weight, including supplied motor mount is 43.5 grams.
Guter Motor fr unsere Flieger. 15A an einer 9x5 mit ca 650gr Schub
Best brush less motor, light weight (39g) brushless motors with rotating case suitable for all models of 300-400 size . the CF2822 motors offer extremely high efficiency and high load capability for their weight. EMAX motors with the high quality of manufacturing, reliability and performance are the best outrunners available in the market. Also it have torque more than 650 grams. best for quadcopters as well as Airplanes.
Cool motors, great to rewind, can be very powerful!!!
I have one of these installed in my Skyartec 1m Cessna. Runs very smoothly and the 3mm cone type prop adapter works very well. Connecting wires are quite thin but appears to have enough power on 8x6 prop. Been too windy to fly it unfortunately. Appears to be excellent value at just over $10.
I use this lil motor for my reaktor and 20A ESC, 9x47 Slowflyer prop, 3S 1000mah Zippy Lipo
8minute, with some 3d maneuver ( hover, KE, Roll, Harrier )
good motor for the price
Bought 4 of these for trial power plants for the Sig Wonder. The model was converted to all white foam construction andis intended for combat flying. The motor has proven to be a very nice unit. Initial testing using a 3s lipo and 9x4.7SF prop showed a max current demand of 15 amp and the model had a very nice performance envelope. Changed to a 10x4.7SF and whilst the flying characteristics were not greatly altered it did provide a very nice acceleration boost over the smaller prop. Haven't measured current draw but the motor was only warm after 6 mins flying at full throttle. It must be noted that the motor is fully exposed to the elements so cooling is not a problem. Very happy with the motor.
