My 6 retracts have the shafts glued in and no grub screws so that you cannot remove them and put in the correct size leg for your application.
To get the shafts out you need to heat them with a heat gun and then wind them out.
You then need to drill and tap the appropriate size hole for grub screws which you will have to purchase yourself in order to use the retracts.
Despite many emails and photos customer service doesn't see to care or understand the problem hence the reason for 3 crowns.

After my initial review, I'm downgrading these as there are several issues.

The nose set isn't flush mounted, all screws need loctite/tightening, the nose gear transit shaft requires the total dissassembly of the gear to remove and there is NO provision of a collar for when YOU the end user, fits a landing gear leg. (the mount is hollowed out for one though none supplied) Some work involved to bring these up to a useable standard and would suit parkfliers/foamies better than heavier models.

Nice construction some play but no more than othe types. Recommend pulling apart and loctiting the screws. The plastic clevis connections are a bit iffy and a couple aren't straight. Good for smaller models but time will tell in a Seagull Pc9 .46 size E-conversion.

I bought these to replace the plastic retracts on my heli artist agusta a109 fuselage for my trex 500 helicopter. I had to slightly grind away some wood on the body work and they now fit perfectly.They are fantastic quality and lock up and down rock solid. I used the original strut and wheels.Using hs65mg servos to drive them. A great improvement at a bargain price even though they are heavier - good job hobbyking.

I've received two packs. It's really good stuff for this price. Two packs are very useful like replacement in case hard landing. However, I still use one pack installed at my plane, and it works fine.

Lose 1 crown beacuse the nose gear retracts that I recieved have the mounting flange on the opposite side of the retract. It is not a flush mount as the picture shows. It cannot be reversed. The main gear are flush mount. This may be no big deal for most applications, but can cause a headache for others!

WOW am I impressed with the quality of these retracts! I got all six pieces ans immediately disassembled one of the steering type to see what makes it tick. All very good quality aluminum and the machining was top notch. If required the steering can be locked in place by moving two set (grub) screws and removing the steering arm. I am ordering another set for future builds.

It's verry good and strong, but a little bit loose in lock position up and/or down. The wheel, 100mm further, moves 2 mm.

And other thing, i receive only 1 set (3pc). I don't post to support because i pass the 48hours delay...
