This cable is NOT wired correctly for Futaba buddy boxes!!!!!!!!
The ground wire on the round end is on pin 5 NOT the shell.
I was able to rewire one buddybox rather than returning the cable.
Hobbyking tech Phillip reports this is a compatibility issue not a "fault".
I believe Hobbyking vendor should recall their product or don't call it Futaba product.
Might be a good idea if they fix the problem.

The buddy box cable didn't work as received. During my investigation I found that a wire on the square plug was not soldered into the connector. There are two open pins so I'm sure where this wire belongs. Also, the quality of the soldering is very poor on the other connections. I guess I should of purchased the genuine Futaba cable.

This cable dont work. I have a original FUTABA and HK cable, i tested with multimeter. The wires are wrong placed in conectors.

The cable is everything I expected it would be. It arrived well packaged and contains the Futaba Micro and Futaba Round plugs. All the components appear high quality and should last for years of use. HK offers a significant discount over other online hobby suppliers.

3m of nicely made cable.

fair price for the cable

I use it with futaba 8fg (Master) and Futaba 7UAF (Slave).

work perfect. almost as easy as plug and train.

To configure the Futaba 8fg (Master) side I've put the trainer mode channels to mix mode and it was ready to fly.

No configuration was needed for the Slave side.
