AGM GH3 3D Gimbal

Dec 29, 2016

When i first received this gimbal I like most others had problems trying to get it to work due to there not being a makers name (AGM) or working driver to get it set up to operate, now as Brian (many thanks for that) has located the software and I located the correct driver (which I have tried to leave in the files tab but for some reason hobbyking will not put up the link) also I located a video of how to install the driver (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWquKi_e-3A) which does give a location where you can download the driver from. now it is workin g fine (I just hope hobbyking puts up this review after my typing it all up)

all in all this is a very great gimbal for the price.

Regards Poppy Ann.

Thus far this is a great camera gimbal. The frustrating part is was amassing the necessary software to get it to run. The GUI has to be loaded as well as the driver to get it to work. I have submitted the files under the files tab along with the default PID settings. Without the software it is just a paper weight and for a few months that's all I had!

I'm not sure what I'll use this for. The GUI seems to work on Win7. The user manual is poor, the calibration is poorly documented. In terms of quality, the unit seems built fairly well, and is lightweight. Performance- the stock tuning works fine, but there is a lot of drift. Also, you have to align the yaw to center for each power-up; this is taken as center by the controller each time. Otherwise you will have off-center yaw to begin with. The drift is bad enough to give an off-level horizon within a minute or two. Who makes this? Can't find a website for mfr support. Not recommended.
