This is well designed and made model. The majority of the hardware is very acceptable. Awaiting the battery so haven't flown it yet but cannot see any problems. The downside is the undercarriage - mains just looks cheap and the nose a bit dodgy. However the design allows for these to be replaced if necessary. The decals aren't bad and do take time to fix properly. The edges didn't hold as well as I would like and had to be restrained with Magic Tape. Also trying to fix decals on corrugated flying surfaces is bound to fail. Minor issues really.

This is a great aircraft. Scale touch and go circuits are fantastic. Flies very slow. Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 4240-620kv, Turnigy Trust 70A SBEC ESC, ZIPPY Flightmax 4000mAh 4S1P 40C, Turnigy 5-7.5A (8~42v) HV UBEC, OrangeRx R910 Spektrum DSM2; 28 minutes flight time. Just buy one, you will be glad you did...

I have changed some things on mine, I had the motor burn up so I installed a G46. Turned it to a tail dragged but the front mounting plate is to small inside the plane and had to be replaced. Fuse strut mount made bigger and wing strut mount removed and reglued. Pitched stickers and painted mine.

An absolut fantastic plane - I use a 4S 5000 together with a 75A esc. You can fly this plane very slow with integrated and great working flaps.

Probably okay but would HIGHLY recommend putting a nice thick piece of carbon fibre rod through the wing spar. Don't be fooled by the fact it is metallic, mine bent in half after coming out of a loop during the maiden flight and the wings folded, ripped the wing struts out of the fuselage. Clearly it's not made to support the wings on this plane.

Don't expect Hobbyking to refund you or replace the model if you lose it as a result of this product fault.

First day out the wing strut mount in the wing failed.. bent the wing tube and despite trying multiple times to get Hobby King to replace it for me, they were worthless as support. . I rebuilt both mounts and doubled the thickness. Also found the props provided to be very unbalanceable. The nose gear will not take any kind of rough landing without bending. The fire wall that the engine box mounts to is very light, after 10 flights I am going to have to replace it. Decals have to be taped down or they will fall off. The styrofoam wheel pants are poorly attached... The wheel axels are simply cheap soft metal screws, I replaced mine with Dubro axels and they work much better. So its been a constant repair project, but I want you to know that if flies GREAT and is a joy to see in the sky, which is why I keep working on it.

Not very happy with the giant cessna. This is my forth plane from HK and definately the worst I have encountered and the most expensive.

1 The stickers will not stay on the plane .I washed the foam with alcohol to remove any wax but sadly they will not stick, looks crap without them.

2 The bolts for the undercarriage and wings are a different thread to the blindnuts in the fuselage and the nuts cant easily be replaced once they are damaged, need to buy 2mm tap and rethread them

3 The control links on the flaps are way too long and if you try to bend new z ends the link breaks

4 Run up the motor for the first time this morning and it lasted about 2minutes before the magnets all flew of ,yes had prop on so it didnt overheat

The first three are just annoying but the cost of a new motor and whatever changes will be needed to fit is really just bad quality controll

This was not a cheap model speedy battery and now a new motor.I guess I should be thankfull it wasnt in the air when motor fley to pieces
