Fair enough !

Nov 14, 2007

This is my first aerobatic foamy model. First of all it looks fantastic with its prepainted body. Everything fits very good and it can be ready in less than 3 hours. I noticed a few cons that I shall mention here.

1. The foam quality is not very good. It breaks easily and if you are careless when you handle it you will leave your fingertips on it.

2. The push hords for the elevator are designed well. It will be a little bit difficult to fit them and regulate the elevator in horizontally position.

3. The engine cowl shall be ripped off if full throttle is given. The reason is the unbalanced spinner which cause violent vibrations. Mine goes out after the first run of the motor. Fortunately, I noticed the problem and I changed the spinner with a light aluminum made.

Other than that, this model worths its money.

better value elsewhere

i just received mine and i must say it is a rather shoddy piece of work. the wing is fully built up but looks like a piece of rubbish, the esc has a 5v cutoff, so not really good for 2s. the motor looks good but doesn't have standard bullet connectors on. i've bought a lot of planes, including about 10 from HC and i must say i wouldn't have bought this if i'd seen it first. the art tech rtf planes are much much better quality. however i'll build mine and use it for spinning practice, i'm sure it will fly ok

SU-31

Nov 14, 2007

Received ARF very quickly, even though other items I purchased were back-ordered (as soon as back-ordered items arrived, everything shipped the same day) Packed well, no damage at all. It took only an hour to assemble and test fly. All hinges and control horns were already installed. The only glue I had to use was the horizontal stabilizer to the fuse., and glue the hinges of the rudder once the horizontal was in place. All pushrods were pre-built and took only a minute to install. Flies extremely well, even in moderate wind. I did try to hover with a 2S lipo and found this to be a little underpowered, the Su-31 had a nose drop tendancy when hovering, probably just a CG change. I am ordering another as a spare and would recomend this to anyone who likes acro. I used 9g servos on all three axis and have not had any troubles at all. Oh, and it looks good too!! Chris Quinn

Just received it, amazed!

Nov 14, 2007

I just received it. I have to comment that it was very carefuly boxed, no scratch at all! That's very good. It took me 3 hours to make it ready to fly. Eveything I needed was included and looks great. I just can't wait to fly it! I recomend it to everyone!

Su-31 ARF Sport Foamie / best

Nov 14, 2007

A super plane. With a 3S 1800 mAh, one flies to semi gas. All the figures pass: loop, barrels, steal back, to assemble vertical

Thank you for this plane which does not miss with its reputation of acrobat

The best you can get for this

Nov 14, 2007

Really great plane, the best you can get for this money. If you use 3cell lipo you will have to stiff the mount of the motor.

Beautiful plane

Accurately, beautiful plane, the powerful motor and reliable regulator. A surface of wings above any praises!
