Canopy is very bad ... hint: buy a Turnigy fiber glass canopy that will be 100pcnt

Wow. i very happy i did not buy the align kit.It is great quality , i heard all the stories about clones and was a bit worried until it came,and was able to really inspect it myself. the build went great with no issues other than the broken canopy witch i kinda expected ,but my heli is as good as an align and i still have the 396.55 difference in the cost i was going to pay for the align. great price great heli . thanks hobbyking.

Great bang for your buck!! Only problem I had assembling was the main shaft would not fit through the main gear retainer. Little emery paper and all is well. Canopy was chipped in shipping. I don't like the stock canopy on any HK helis and had added one to my original order anyhow. Replaced main gear and pinion with slants as original main was wobbly. All aluminum is very nice and finished beautifully. Have only had a chance to hover in the backyard and it hovered great. For this price I can replace the parts I needed too and still came in well under competitors prices of equal quality machines .Well worth the money!!!

You get what you payed for... Generally this KIT is awesome, but 3 issues in my case: the one way bearing in my KIT was faulty; the canopy was completely damaged and the gyro tray (at the end of the frame) is completely unstable - you must to glue it (probably it is made from to thin carbon.

Haube war komlett zerstrt, und nicht nur gerissen.Einzelne Teile der Haube lagen noch im Pakett (Pakett war ohne jeden erkennbaren Schaden). Leider hat Hobby King auf mehrfache Reklamation nicht reagiert. Sehr Schade
Der Rest des Modells war vollstndig aber wenig passgenau; (Toleranzen mit Trex nicht zu vergleichen) mit leichten Nacharbeiten war aber alles ok

This kit is a great value, Parts look good and fit well. Very few issues during the build. It fly's just like it's name brand counterpart. The only real complaint I have is that the canopy cant even survive the shipping. I would say for just a tuch more on price it would be worth it to throw in a nice fiberglass canopy. I would recommend this to any one wanting to save $ over a trex so you can put top notch electronics in it. Get the zyx-s flybarless unit, some good digital servos, plus your motor and esc. Do your self a favor and order a fg canopy.

Good value for the money, nearly everything is machined out of aluminium and CF. Following things need to be checked: Main gear is warped and untrue wich makes it impossible to adjust gear mesh -> I use Align gear (188t helical). Be careful when setting the tail limits - binding can occur at to high throws.
I reccomend to install a second torque tube bearing to avoid vibs.
And like the others said canopy is su(ing. Mine arrived also broken.
Finally flying is without issues on the turnigy 600 1400kv motor and a yep 150 esc on 5S 5000 lipo and a zyx.

I received mine a couple of weeks ago, only one thing to complain, the canopy was broken, so I bought an original Align 550. But the rest is of impressive quality, especially the aluminium cnc parts. I've got HK 450V2; HK 500GT and HK 600GT; this one is definetely the most valuable one.

Great value kit. I have set mine up with Align electronics. The only issue I had was tail rotor related, the slider was very sloppy, so I replaced that with an Align part. I have set it up with a flybar head to begin with and its the most stable helicopter I have ever flown. No 3D though at the moment.
