Nice little boards

Jun 05, 2019

These are nice little boards and could be used in a variety of LED signal systems. Sadly I wanted to use them for Naza FC LED indication to replace the USB/LED units on some Naza's I have but they didn't work for that purpose. dare say I will find a use for them in the future so no problem having them in the 'useful parts' box.

Great little board. Built flame wheel quad with HK Pilot Mega. Used four green / red LED strips for the arms. Connected the driver board input connection to the pilot mega inputs. Connected the very small power wires to the power distribution board. Great light display whin the quad is powered up.

Used with 4x 3-LED long RGB-strips, one Red, one Green, one Blue and one White. Works great, and apparently on lower voltages too (~9 V) if you prefer dimmer LEDs, feeding with 3S should work, maybe even 2S if you'd need it? Hardware information: The chip is a Texas Instruments ULN2003A Darlington transistor array, datasheet can be found by searching for "uln2003a.pdf", seems like it has the capability to drive up to seven loads.
Downsides: The 12V input wires seem a bit flimsy for 700mA.

Great board. It came without instructions, but I soldered some test leds and figured out outputs.I use it on my s500 quadcopter - apm 2.5.2 from HK. Led strip(6x smd led) on each arm of frame. Just set parameter "LED_MODE" to 107(default is 9). I have gps lock blue led. When battery voltage is low red leds are flashing. Firmwavre is AC 3.2 rc7.

No instructions came with mine. The video is too general to be useful. Please supply a wiring layout or smple setup so that people can use these.
