No sound, cropped picture

Hi,
I bought 4 of these over the last 3 years, 1 record sound, 3 doesn't (i get a specific icon of a red microphone) but i connect them the same way, i don't understand why? Other thing, you have to be aware that in HD the bottom of your OSD will be cropped, it means for the Vector: NO ACCESS TO GPS COORDINATES! Other that that, video quality is better than some 100$ mini DVR i have...

Works very well, easy to set up and good quality on recordings. realy nice function with the optional k1-k3 button input for toggling recording. i just ordered a electronical switch to turn it on/off while flying.

I bought this to use as a compact DVR for my ground station. And I am very impressed. The options menu is very easy to use and there are plenty of options and configuration settings so you can get optimal performance.

There are loads of tutorials and documentation all over the internet and youtube and it is very easy to use.

The quality of the recordings is excellent too and you can choose a lower resolution to reserve memory space.

All in all a great compact solution for your ground station and well recommended.

Really neat and small DVR.
I have added it as a DVR to my Quanum 2 and Boscam Receiver
presently its powered from one single cell of the Lipo charge lead that powers the Quanum goggles,
it works well on a fully charged pack and connected to one and only single cell that's charged,
time will tell if it records when the voltage drops,
it states a voltage of 5 volts but worked on an esc output of 6.5 volts but I tried the direct connect to a single cell via the charge lead and all works well,
I always keep my goggle pack tip top balanced charged so shouldn't cause a problem
make sure you download and upgrade the firmware in the files tab

Very happy with this DVR, it's obviously not going to give you GoPro quality footage but for the price it is awesome for getting a video with the same feel as the "FPV " experience you get through the goggles, some friends have been disappointed to watch through goggles after seeing video from a GoPro, thinking the live feed is in HD.

Great price, works fine

SD card is hard to push in or to remove - so I did an mod.

Connector for GND, K1,K2,K3 is for RX controlled switching like the buttons do.....

great product! very good video quality, especially given the price of this dvr! wired directly into my headplay goggles - can now record my flights through av1 channel and review via av2 on the goggles. 2 thumbs up!

Works just fine :) Use it for my FPV ground station. A little soldering is required.
Newest firmware can be found on international page.
Cheap and do what it has to do ;)
I would buy it again...
