Built for speed but with a low wing-loading, the Parkjet MkII screams across the sky and can still glide in for a slow landing.

The MkII is now available in Kit form allowing you to customise your own speed machine! you will require a brushless outrunner, ESC and Two 4.5g servos. A light weight fibre glass mount and a 10mm Stick mount are both included with the kit allowing you to install extra hot motors!

The HK Parkjet is a fantastically fast park-flyer with very docile and predictable slow-flight characteristics, its easy to land and hand launches are made simple with underside finger holds which also mark the CG location. The main wings are reinforced with carbon fiber rods and the fuselage can take a huge variety of batteries from 800mAh up to 1400mAh!

Great Plane,
it was my first plane i ever bought and i have to say, the assembly was very easy. Poorly i never got it to fly till now (it just twisted when i started the engine and crashed down :-( ), this evening i will have another test with a smaller lipo and a smaller prop then the one i used b4. Already ordered another one (this time the full set with everything in it).

I had my first flight today.Gave it a toss and it hit the long grass. The motor split open so I re glued and reinforced with the tap supplied. All is ok for another attemp. Where should the battery be positioned? and what about CG as there was no Instructions with the kit.any suggestions

on launching??Noel Madigan

Too bad I got my Parkjet with two left wings. wings as a replacement part can not be delivered. I do not want a complete set just buying the wing because then the weight would be under 500g. But HobbyKing has returned me the money immediately (for that I give it 5 crowns!) But the expensive shipping costs I paid for and can not fly parkjet which is sad.

Great fast plane this one. With the turnigy 2632 3400 kv on 3s and 4.5x4.5 prop it will be ballistic! I clocked mine at 190 km/h with rcspeedo. Just be sure that you accelerate enough on takeoff or it will hit the ground. It also flies really nice with big winds.

Here's a video of my parkjet modified: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iRFyWCGAas&feature=g-upl

Cheers!

This model suffers weakness of the canopy and front fuselage. I have found a way to stiffen and also keep canopy well seated and prevent it's loss in flight. Either side at mid-point along canopy vertically down through fuselage .. a long M2 bolt to blind nut under. With large washer under bolt head ... you can tighten down into the foam enough to have head below surface. Remove and epoxy to strengthen before putting bolt back again.
