The HobbyKing Red Bricks wont win first place for style, though they will take top points for simplicity and reliability. With a basic set of programming features these s are a perfect solution for anyone looking for a basic yet robust speed controller.
The Red Bricks have been engineered with heat dissipation in mind. featuring over sized Aluminium heat sinks the Red Brick s are slightly larger than many s in their class, however this compromise in size is aimed at assisting to eliminate the problems associated with over heating.
• Smooth, linear throttle response
• Uses powerful, high performance MCU
• Multiple self protection functions: abnormal voltage input, low battery protection, over thermal protection, throttle signal loss
• Programmable via throttle stick (see instructions under "Files" tab)

excellent, no problem with itIt works very well, I'm satisiedGreat ESC. Running two of these side by side in my Citation 550 twin EDF jet
Easy to set up and nice smooth throttle response. Not a lot of cooling in the fuselage so fairly warm after a 4 minute flight but very happy. 70 amp rated was an overkill but looking for reliability and longevity. Definitely built like a 'brick'Great ESC. Running two of these side by side in my Citation 550 twin EDF jet

Definitely built like a 'brick'Ive had a good run with red brick esc's great value but they don't work on fully charged 7s as stated advise to stay with 6s.great ESC. doesn't come with battery or motor connectors or shrink wrap. you'll need to be comfortabl e with a solder iron. but five minutes of soldering and you'll save 75pcnt relative to the local hobby store.....Excelente variador de velocidad, muy buena calidad y muy recomendable, ideal para motores de mas de 1,5kg de empujeDead Brick,
It worked for 30secs, juiced it up to barely 20amps (3s) then poof! A 70 amp DeadBrick is born.
Now I wait for RMA approval and hopefully a new esc.
4 crowns for the color and sticker..................................................................Variador Red Brick de 70!...Muy buena relacion precio calidad!!
