This stunning looking Sbach 342 is a pure, mean, 3D machine! The superb Ultra-light construction, which features a sheeted spine fuselage for strength, keeps the flying weight minimal, couple this with a 30cc gas engine or Turnigy electric equivalent and you have unlimited vertical performance!

The wings and horizontal stabilizers are plug in for easy transport, the tailfeathers are not flat sheet but full aerofoil, the control surfaces are easily large enough for 3D maneouvers. Rudder is pull/pull and high quality ball linked control rods are used throughout for precision and reliability. The pre-applied covering is glossy and of a very high standard, the colour scheme is ideal for orientation and looks superb in the classic Sbach scheme. This is a high quality 3D model that is also an ideal everyday sport flyer when set up on low rates, either way, it's a real performer and a real looker!

Poor quality, insufficient glue or poor quality glue used, ribs and panels come unstuck, tail wheel assembly missing completely, pre applied colour film badly misaligned on cowl and canopy misses lines on fuse by a mile, looks terrible. In a word it's crap. as most of us know it's also a sanity hazard talking to HK support, just not worth it.

Received plane savly in a hard box in a few days.
Had flown it now about 6 times to adjust and now it flys great.
If you do not looking about every precise optic detail and rebond weak and lose parts, reinforce the landing gear with a wire and strong spring or change into carbon. Rebond canopy with uhu-por, Iron the decals a little bit more so i can recommend this plane a lot.
It is so much nice looking, i love it. At the local rc shop, such plane costs two times of these with equal size. I needed about 4 evenings until all is right fixed.
I fly with 6s 6000mah and a brushless 6350 370kv and 21x8 prop and its good to hoover and torque. AUW is about 5kilos without ext. Bec, without spinner, wheel cover and so on...
CG is on mine at the beginning of only cover without wood unterneath on the wings, so i had to put all things in the front as wide as possible. If you fly with stabilizing and fast digitals probably cg more back flyable to more 3d.
Thanks HK, i love my hobby, its great.

Not a well made kit for the money. Vantex brand kit, cheap and nasty.
Too many things wrong with it to make it a worthwhile purchase.
Poor quality plywood. Supplied materials & hardware missing.
20 mm aluminium wing tube will bend or fail with aerobatics, it's too small for this weight plane.
Cowl front is wrong, it is made with 15 degrees downthrust angle.
Heavy model when completed.
Hobby King is dreaming if they think this is a 3D plane...............

Fuyuan model plane lovely kit goes together nice and simple no big work involved in putting it all together ,ten euro sent to Ireland from euro warehouse so all in all a fantastic plane for 250 euro would recommend it to anyone ,dont use a evuliton 33cc engine because the stand offs are one inch too short , truingy, rcg, dle or da are better fits with pits style mufflers, fit inside the cowl great . The only gripe is the cowl front where the spinner fits has two much of a lean angle ,so spinner is not parallel to cowl can live with that all up weight is 11.5 pound

i received mine today what a pleasant surprise at the price this is a real bargain the quality of the covering and workmanship looks excellent. on looks alone this will fly i will be fitting a 33ccc petrol engine to the front and hi torque servos thoughout. I may upgrade the wing and tail joiner tubes from the aluminium supplied ones to carbon though it isn't a requirement. Having spent a lot more money with other suppliers for kits not as nice as this well done hk

oggi 4 Gennaio volo di prova: semplicemente fantastico!
nessuna trimmatura, con motore 30c.c. elica plastica 18X8 salita infinita, overing a met gas, paracadutata con poche correzioni. Atterra praticamente da solo. Devo provare una elica 20X6 legno per 3D.

my auw is 5.9 kgs with a heavy 35cc motor and

the overall performance is very good.

completes aerobatic manouvers with absolutely no bad habits.

clean uncoupled knife edge.

my c.o.g. is centre of the wing tube.

used all the hardware except the rudder clevis' and pull pull

cable.

got mine about ready for maiden, is it just mine or does the cowl have a huge amount of down thrust built into the spinner ring on all of em? set up the hatch deck level and the cowl bolted on shows 7* down angle at the spinner face.
control rods for the elevators was short. Seen some comments about em going in he ele halves....sure wont fit in mine less i use a 9 gram servo. the online manual is for a different bird.
The decals are not so good but look ok. had to use press and seal to remove from the sheets and then apply.
now the good.... covering is immaculate, not a wrinkle in it. cowl is painted nice. They actually used a decent amount of glue! AUW with a dle 30 and 7 servos (choke for the last one) is 10lb 4 oz. it otta fly good
With a little qc work this could be one of the better sbachs on the market

I maidened the airplane today with the RCG 30cc engine, HK metal gear servos, and 9ch orange reciever with two remotes. It flies very well and has plenty of power with this combo. It looks fantastic- everyone at the field commented about it. When I told them what I paid they all about fainted. It needed two clicks of trim in the elevator and nothing else at all. Love my new Sbach.
