The Hobbyking Sport Jet 70 is a superb performing EDF for sport aerobatic flying that is made from tough EPO and is easy and fast to assemble.

The specs on this great looking jet are impressive, the EDF unit and ESC are pre-installed as are all the quality servo's, assembly is basically bolt together with only 2 small parts to glue in place. The fixed landing gear is very strong and of course optional, this means the Sport Jet 70 is suitable for any flying field.

Sport jet's are about performance and aerobatics and the H-King Sport Jet does not disappoint, there is plenty of thrust from the fan unit for big loops and precise control for those jet aerobatics, knife edge, 4 point rolls and so on are all in easy reach with this great performing model. This jet performs so well and so predictably that we would reccomend it as a first jet for the intermediate pilot, it has all the right qualities for a fast, fun day at the airfield, just don't forget to pack plenty of lipoly's in your flight box, you will need them!

Geflogener Lipo 5s 2700 Zippy Compact

This is a fantastic jet! I flew mine im Miami, out of asphalt runway. Wind was blowing strong (I imagine faster than 20 mph) so take off was really short. With throws as recomended itwas tame on pitch but very sensitive on roll. Changed to low rates and became to slow in pitch and still sensitive in roll. I'd recommend keep high rates and add expo to ailerons. Even with a 2200mAh nano 40C battery I found CG to be way too fwd and cut a slot in battery compartment to but battery slightly aft. Even though I had to compensate a few clicks of nose up. Will have either move battery even farther back or at stick lead to tail.

All in all a great EDF to start with. Easy to take off, fly and land even under strong winds. Well done HK

Very nice looking plane, looks better than on the pictures here. It is a very well built plane, easy to assemble, all with screws but horribly underpowered. At frull trottle mine started to lift after some 100 meters of asphalt runway, but climbed only a few meters after which it crashed into a building and split in two halves. It's easy repairable. Used 4S, 3000 mah and 50A Red Brick ESC - all as recommended here but obviously this is not enough. I will now try with 5 or 6S. I advice you to check the drag at full speed, hold the plane vertically and feel if it wan't to lift up. If not, try more cells or change the whole turbine set up.
