I Use this for a HK-500 TT. It works relyable with 1600kV Motor and throttle curve.
It is not possible to switch off the soft start and governor mode is not working.
I use it sience 2 years and hundreds of flights had no problems....

Really screwed up. I bought three of these, and for the life of me I didn't see that they were for helio's. Can they be used for Aircraft?? How do you set the throttle for hard start? Can't find any info on programing. Thanks, Ken McCormack

This speed controller is currently installed for my hk 450 se v2, running cool but governor mode is not working correctly, have tried different setting. Value for money since the price is so much lower compared to other with the same AMP.

Hi,

I use it on HK500CMT and it works fine with Turnigy 500 H3126 Brushless outrunner 1600KV and 12t pinion - HS is around 2600. Maybe SoftStart could be a little "softer"...the rest OK - it is not even hot after flight, but i do just mild 3D.

Works fine - for a low-budget ESC - only 4 options available to program...not 6. When you look at what your LHS wants for these - it's a no-brainer to go with Hobby-King

This ESC works well but picks up too quick on initial power up snatching main rotors on HK 500. Could do with a softer start.

I installed this on my Gaui Hurricane 550, it works well, tho the soft start is not really soft. over all the esc works great tho
