The HobbyKing EPO Jet Chuck Gliders are small models, yet are big fun. A perfect gift for the kids. Loosely modeled after full scale fighter jet models, we offer three different designs to choose from. Simple assembly, for hours of fun. As a challenge, these are a fun DIY conversion to radio control.  Each model has a molded rubber nose cone to help to protect the model when it lands. Instead of crumpled foam, the rubber nose absorbs the impact.

Fun for lazy summer days in the back yard, take them to the beach or where ever you want!

Features:
• Ultra tough EPO construction
• Simple assembly
• Molded rubber nose cone to absorb landing shock
• 3 semi-scale designs to choose from - X16, X18, X22

Specs:
 Wingspan: 295mm
 Length: 400mm
 Weight: 33g

I got one of these and the X16 (see my review). Great little glider for kids and adults alike. Compared to the X16, this one is a little more durable and it has nice little finger holds molded into the bottom of the fuselage to aid in throwing it (nice!). This one flies good, but the X16 flies a little better IMO. Highly recommend both of them.

Ne ho gia acquistati 4 o 5. Mio figlio di 4 anni ne va matto. Anche abbastanza resistente. Se opportunamente regolato, vola da Dio

Nice and sturdy chuck glider, but mine weighs 45g instead of the 33g in the specs. That's 36pcnt more weight than expected!

Full review didn't show up... great as free flight birds. remove rubber nose and insert a 3-4 inch long carbon rod. eliminates the weak spot in the nose. To be clear these are really tough, its just if you break it the nose is the spot! Reglue rubber nose cap and you are off!
RC works for 16 and 18. cut off stabs cut snug pockets for turnigy 1440 servos and glue stabs directly to out put shaft and screw... skip the servo horn. x-18 balance at 25mm behind LERX/ wing junction. x-16 start at about 10mm in front of the stock CG. using 180 2 cell lipo and elevon programming on both. x-18 is about 1/41st scale and x-16 is almost exactly 1/32 scale. ordered 1/32 and 1/48 scale decal sheets for both! model master enamel paint works great even when using laquer thinner to thin for spraying. quick and easy. 16 is 69g with paint ready to fly and the 18 is 59g all up.

First impressions are that it is very nice, it test glided well although I plan to add a tiny bit nose weight, rc conversion mmmm, plenty of room in the fuz to house rc and appears to have enough wing area to make it work.

all three of these are good fliers if you add just a little weight to the nose. I recommend tape, this will help in the long run as the nose is going to snap off anyways,
