Used this to upgrade my Dromida 4.18 brushless Desert Buggy to be capable of 3s operation. Compared to the original esc, this one has much better linear throttle response, especially at low throttle start up vs the 1/4 throttle needed to start up the original one. My desert buggy is now too fast for its own good, and I like it that way
Very Very nice cheap ESC. I used it on the Turnigy 1/16th scale buggy. I replaced the motor and it burnt out the stock ESC and this one stays way cooler than the old one and was dirt cheap! Would recommend any day. And the option of adding a fan is also VERY nice. I ran 20 minutes of a 3 cell battery on the buggy and the ESC was only slightly hot to the touch!
works really good, it has pins for your head and tail lights on the esc.
I run 4 of these on 3S and have mounted fans. However, 2 of them resets pretty much once every minute.
They don't get hot and the cell voltage is high, and we are talking about fresh 45C batteries.
Have tried change low voltage cut off, but no change.
Not very happy with these...
I use this esc in a 1/16 rally car and it works well on 2s and 3s, but the 2A BEC output is not true on 3s. On 2s it can power the servo, 4 leds and 2 fans (each fan needs 0.12Amps), but on 3s the esc turns itself off when both fans are running. One fan is for the esc and the other is for the motor.
Great ESC. I use it on a hovercraft and it performs really well. Ton of programming options.
trs bon esc, bonne rponse et acclration, mais attention aux moteur 2 poles avec un kv de plus de 4000, il y a du cogging au dmarrage. Privilgiez des moteurs de 24mm ou plus de diamtre.
Very nice ESC and easy to program using the transmitter sticks. I used it in a boat that needed reverse capability.
Best Traxxas Brushless ESC from Hobbyking! I use these on all my Slashes and Troopers, Don't forget connectors and programing card!
