    The new Hobbyking Cellmeter-7 with built in balance function really is THE must have tool for the RC Hobbyist, not only is it capable of instantly checking the overall and individual cell voltage of Lipo/Life & Li-ion batteries (with balance plugs fitted) it can also give you an instant reading of the remaining capacity of the battery at the same time, so no guess work! The cell button allows you to balance your packs, the mode button also allows you to check highest and lowest individual cells and voltage differences between individual cells, finally, as well as the Lithium battery port, there is an additional receiver style 3 pin port for checking overall voltage on Nimh/Nicd RX batteries.

    AVOID THIS ITEM ANOTHER DEFECTIVE PRODUCT FROM HK

    **Unit will NOT balance...it tries, but actually will throw off more than balance

    And no, not just 'you got a defective one" as I ordered two, both same

    The orig(2-6s) is better....

    I love the new balance function. I have other dischargers/balances not as accurate as this one. Only thing left for this is a discharge function would be nice. Still 5 stars for me.

    Very handy tool to have in the flight box! Handy for all my different battery types, gives voltage, gives percentage, balances lipos with the press of a button! Worth it !

    My son and I have both had one of these and both were faulty, when cells are lower than 40pcnt it always reads 14pcnt, both are the same.
    A friend of mine has the old model which is perfect.

    I like HobbyKing products but this one is no good
