Sep 26, 2020

I don't know what's wrong but i installed the esc in my hsdjets j-10 (105 mm edf)
i calibrated the esc but at 80% throttle the engine starts shaking?? when i get over the 80% i mean full throttle than it goes all the way. very strange?? so i can't use the esc.

Rock Solid

Feb 12, 2020

We use these to control the bigger outrunners in the 6S range (NTM5060 SK3 5055 for example). We have blown up those motors, shattered the bearings, bend the shafts, pulverized magnets, but lost only 1 of these ESC's in 10 years, and that was due a LiPo fire. Robot wars is a hars enviroment for parts .

No issues to date.

So far so good....have applied up to 26 volts to the controller (HK chat adviser said this less expensive controller should be limited to to ~24.5 volts). Using them with two E-Flite 360 6000 max watt motors in a static test configuration of an experimental ducted fans VTOL 1/3 scale model. 32 amps at ~25 volts so far has been the max power through them.

Great ESC !

Aug 06, 2019

High power ESC, but you need to connect external battery to the receiver as this is "Opto only" and it doesn't have build-in BEC.
Wiring diagram in the *.PDF manual is wrong and it shows how to wire standard ESC with BEC.
I have no problem with that since I'm planning to use this ESC to power a motor on my DIY mini lathe/sander and regulate the speed with Arduino.
