Hey fellow R c hobbyist, i know you all will appreciate the precious info i mentioned under for buying stock esc and/ or motor-if you are willing to pay $25 shipping!! i promise you all to negotiate for a better shipping rate with Idea fly - still working on it and gather orders from Hobby king Ifly4 owners.
for those of you whom have BURN OUT THE 10a esc -if you have the older c4 controller- as Frank mentioned-your are out of luck but i confirmed with ideafly that they will sell you the c4e with the escs for a good price.still shipping of $25 still under negotiation ; those that have C4e controller can replace the stock esc with a hk plush 12a esc will work great. AS I have BEEN IN THE HOBBY BUSINESS in Canada for the last 8 years- AND THERE EXIST NONE exact replace motor in HK inventory (2212 850KV )-

So far has been a great buy , for 200 this is worth trying , the ESC's vent well and the setup on a computer is a breeze , the type of plastic used on the landing gear may look cheap , but it is very stable , and supportive , the folding aspect of the quad is great too, each boom is tightened with finger screws , so you can adjust the tightness of each boom, I think this quad copter goes well with the mobius action cam for a light but HD quality payload, in closing I recommend this quad to anyone that wants a simple and affordable quad copter to tinker around with . Great for the beginner or expert that wants to tinker. One thing about the quad I am not a huge fan of is the canopy , or the way it holds to the frame, but can be simply adapted to hold better .

Got mine a couple of days ago and been hanging to try it, today I looked at the cd and saw the two options hook it to the computer or not I don't have a patch Lead so I gave it a go 5 mins on the cd and went and bolted it to the bench with a bit of play plugged it in to my orange transmitter without removing the props and a couple of mins after that got the guts to take it to the drive way as I have had a bit of xp with hellis . trimmed it in without taking off till I was happy with the stability and flew in around the yard a bit and it went great very steady trimmed in well , I love it , have not flown it as yet proper maybe Sunday nice !

Purchased 7/23/13 Hasen't worked right since the first flight. HK help was worthless.
Purchased a C4E controller with GPS from Idea fly 11/7/13. Guess what? It doesn't work either. I don't think these controllers are very good. This is my first and last Idea fly product. As for HK we all know every purchase is a gamble. Snake eyes, I loose.

If you buy from EU warehouse this copter comes with a new IFLYC4E FC. Order date 6.02.2014. The details from HK are outdated. You will get the new version with new FC and new ESCs and motors. You can replace motors and ESC as you like.

One of my motors is quite loud. Sounds like a bearing problem. Overall Iam happy with the set. Can recommend it for a cheap beginner set.

Bought this quad instead of building my own. After seeing some of the you tube videos I went over my ifly 4 before flying and checks all the screws were tight and conections were plugged in correctly. Have had no issues and flys great. My only complaint is that the canopy is rubbish apart from that it is good value for money and a good starter quad.

Mi ha stupito la stabilit di questo quadricottero, anche se per farlo volare come si deve bisogna lavorare un po' sul software della scheda elettronica. Ricordate di stringere dopo ogni volo i dadi delle eliche perch le sollecitazioni li fanno svitare, come successo a me con conseguenze abbastanza prevedibili!

It's very nice!! good value for money. Very easy to fly, since without experience.With it you became to think that you are allready a pilot !! LOL. I'm waiting for a fatshark, and i'll use it with Ifly-4.

I have had the ifly4 over 1 year without any problem i have over 50 flights on it ,only mods are navi lights and heat sinks on ESC great quad for the price

Guter Anfnger Quadcopter fr Bilder / Video . (Es ist nicht gemeint das man ein Anfnger ist zum Fliegen)Meiner Driftet noch im Gear ? Sonst ist der Quad ein gutes Fluggert um schne Bilder oder Videos zu machen . Qualitt ist auch ok fr das Geld.
