ImmersionRC Circularly Polarized SpiroNet antennas are without doubt the best replacement available for your stock whip antennas. Manufactured to extremely high tolerances and 100% tested on a Rhode & Schwartz analyzer, these antennas yield unparalleled results when compared to hand made variants or DIY antennas.
Right-hand circular polarization or (RHCP) have well and truly been established as the antenna of choice for 5.8GHz FPV use and now RP-SMA users can also enjoy the benefits without the head scratching involved in making them yourself. The Hard case enclosure will ensure that your antennas are never damaged or bent out of shape while handling or after a ruff landing while the flexible cable ensures easy positioning for optimum performance. The flexible cable can be bent at a 90deg angle and will retain its shape making it ideal for goggles with horizontal RP-SMA outputs.
These new antennas now include the improved wire stems for greater ridgidity.

I am using the Tx antenna on my 200mw TBS ROOKIE VTX which is on my TBS Discovery quad and it works great. Nice finish on the antennas, the protective case is a good idea as it's very easy to knock or bend the antenna during transport or handling. They look good quality and the grey looks very neat, better than the black. I've tried the RX antenna on my TBS 5G8 Dominator RX and the video quality is good but my patch antenna works better. Thanks HobbykingGood add on for better fpv qualityThe tx antenna is far too short .... It needs to be the same length as the Rx Antenna :(
In order to get a clean neat install the rx antenna had to be replaced by a cheapy off of ebay . Wake up fat shark make them the same length !These work a treat , way better than the standard antenna's .The Fat Shark Spironet antenna's are one of the best aftermarket antenna's you can buy, good price too. These are great antenna's and they fit the Boscam 5.8G Video Tx/Rx sets, Hobbyking sell.
Originally I made my own clover leaf antenna's, but 5.8Ghz being such a short wavelength getting the dimensions and construction precise is a tough task. These SpiroNet antenna's have at least 4 times the range of my home-made efforts, and the plastic protective casing is a bonus for when your quadcopter flips to the ground. These are some great antenna, quite happy with these. Have almost eliminated video glitches at the ranges i fly at.Nice product but NOT compatible with Fat Shark Goggles. (GREY CAPS = REVERSE POLARITY SMA CONNECTOR, standard SMA = BLACK CAPS)
The connectors 'look' the same and will attach, but the wiring is different and therefore will not work.Very impressed with this product, solved my range issues as well as signal lost problems. Recommend this for all, even first timers into FPV looking for a simple solution.Been using this for about a week now and so far so good. Provides about 1 - 1.5 km of good video for the 200mw 5.8ghx tx/rx gear.
