Vey good charger for a larger battery

Aug 26, 2021

This a great charger for the money! I charge 2 5000mAh 6s batteries at 1.5C in 30 minutes. That is 7.5 amps per battery and this charger does not even get warm! You do need a DC power source with 30-40 amp 14 volt power. I use a deep cycle lead acid battery. I also us a 220 watt AC to 14V DC power supply to charge one battery at a time.
This charger is capable 20 amp/500 watt per side charge rate but I have not gone over 250 watts.

P20 - mediocre buttons & menus. BattGo function removed by FW update

May 27, 2021

I just got it on my bench and I regret buying this P20.
Buttons and menu interactions are mediocre.
I figured I might update to latest firmware, maybe something improved...?
Only to find out that if I chose to update FW then I will lose BattGo functionality.
Seems like ISDT sold the BattGo right to Horizon Hobby and so they retroactively remove the BattGo feature from any ISDT unit subject to FW update.
Frankly, I would look at other charger brands. There are good alternatives out there.
