The JR DMSS (Dual Modulation Spectrum System) RG712BX receiver uses JR's own serial bus data instead of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to send signals to XBus products such as servos. Signals are sent in a serial manner to all channels with individual servos recognising their own data from the receiver.
One of the features of the RG712BX is it's use of the JR DMSS path diversity antenna system which greatly improves the signal reception. These path diversity antennas remove the need for a satellite receiver which simplifies your antenna set up but still gives you excellent full range.
You can still use non XBus servos in conjuction with a channel decoder or you can plug them directly into the receiver ports avoiding the XBus port.
The JR DMSS 2.4GHz protocol offers a secure link that combines DSSS and FHSS capabilities into a wide band transmission system that gives high speed response and excellent resistance against RF noise.
