DMSS™ (Dual Modulation Spectrum System) is an innovative 2.4GHz transmission protocol developed exclusively by JR® Radios that offers high-speed response and high resistance against RF noise. The six-channel JR XG6 Radio Control System includes all the advantages of the genuine JR frequency system, plus the kind of legendary high end software attention that’s made the JR brand famous because it’s developed by some of the world’s leading airplane, helicopter and sailplane pilots.

With the XG6 transmitter, you get all the benefits of genuine JR technology in a basic 6-channel transmitter that comes with integrated telemetry; a world first for a 6-channel transmitter. Receiver voltage comes standard with the option to add up to five additional telemetry functions like temperature, rpm, altitude, variometer and flight pack voltage. Having this vital information at your fingertips will help you get more out of your RC flying. The included full-range JR RG631B receiver uses a combined remote antenna/telemetry module (RA-01L) and features a bind process that’s simpler than ever.

The lightweight, high-grip performance XG6 transmitter features built-in 20-model memory, plus the bonus of a micro SD card slot so that you can easily back up your aircraft settings for virtually unlimited possibilities, including future firmware and software update capabilities. Beneath its unique styling, the XG6 transmitter has all the programming needed for basic flight as well as the sophistication you’d expect from a competition-grade system with a level of intuition that’s legendary JR Radios.

*DMSS technology is not compatible with JR DSM or Spektrum DSM2 or DSMX equipment.

The first thing that draws your attention after unpacking is the smell of plastic, but it disappears rather quickly. The plastic shell looks quite solid and firm. Transmitter with installed batteries hangs strictly horizontally which reduces the risk of an accidental grazing of the throttle stick and eliminates the need for using counterweight or modification bracket. Its quite comfortable to keep the transmitter in hands, and you can feel that the ergonomics was thoroughly worked at, although these feelings can be subjective. The switches are of high quality. They are firmly fixed in their positions, but at the same time they can be easily turned. The power switch is recessed into the shell and it can be turned with some effort. The transmitter has a large readable screen of a low resolution (its diagonal is 3 inches). When you turn off the transmitter it shows a smoothly fading brand logo. It was a nice surprise to see that the back cover is not connected to the motherboard with wires, as all the connectors are attached to the front cover or the board, which is attached to the front cover. Inside, we find that the assembly looks thoroughly made. There are no dirty fingerprints, excess solder, flux residues, on the circuit boards. Only a small drop of solder hangs on gimbal (we can forgive the assemblers this). By default, there is a ratchet spring for helicopters in
