I purchased the auto kite 6 months ago and have flown it nearly every week since. I found flying with a 130 or 160mah battery provided more power and longer flight time. Mine came with a bent rudder and when flying would always turn left, this couldn't be trimmed out. This plane can loop and is quite maneuverable. I learnt to fly indoors with this plane, but can't fly it anymore as the brush motor is worn out. I recommend this plane to indoor flyers.

Great little plane. Good quality. I had it in the air about 30 minutes after it arrived. Easy to attach the kite to the plane. Flew very well. It can fly quite slow. The only stunt it can do is a loop (with a bit of speed), that is it. But if you want do something impressive, take it to a good high height, cut the throttle and let it glide in gracefully. Looks very impressive. It also looks very unusual. People cannot help looking at it.
I also upgraded the battery to use the 138mag turnigy battery, and lasts allot longer. No problem with the heavier battery.
Only improvement I can think of is the throttle lever on the radio. The stop position is in the middle (I guess this is so I can do Mode 1 and 2). That means it can be a little hard to control minor speed inputs. I am using Mode 1.

This is a nice, easy-to-fly model that is not like your standard indoor model plane. It looks quite different, with its parasol Rogallo wing, plus full directional control. The transmitter has two spring-loaded sticks, so you have to keep pressure on the throttle in order to keep the motor running. I did not have the problems noted by other reviewers. My plane clicked together with no issues, and flew pretty well without any adjustment. Since the wing is mounted so high, any thrust causes the plane to rise. You can counteract this tendency with a bit of down elevator while applying the power. I have found that it doesn't take a lot of wind to blow it away, and it becomes unsteady in gusty conditions. All things considered, it is a good plane that delivers fun in an unusual package.
