Fantastic plane. Landing gear is a bit weak, and yes the tail plane needed leveling upon arrival but once set up it is an absolute dream to fly. My 9yr old son, this is his first plane that I am teaching him to fly on. 3rd flight he was doing circurts for 10minutes plus at a time. 5th flight he was taking off and landing. I even enjoy the easy of getting on the sticks of this plane!

hi there, I bought this plane a while back as my first large plane, I have only flown mircos before, bought it purely on looks and being a slowflyer and I have to say I love this plane. It went together easily, fitting the battery and rx took some working out, But she flys really well under power or gliding across the local dunes.
Thanks to hobbyking for a lovely starter plane

Received this plane in good time and good condition.
Construction is a breeze and quality is good with no complain at this price.it looks beautiful both on the ground and in the air. Maiden flight is delightful with both on wheel and hand launch, it floods almost by itself and despite no aileron control but with only rudder and elevator are easy and responsive. Highly recommended to beginner (like me), i hope you can have lot of joy of air time like me. Please feel free to ask any question you might have and i'll share as much as i can.

Very very nice model out of the box, decals a bit bubbly, blue paint around the canopy prone to rubbing off (minor issues). Very tight inside the cockpit, had to remove the turnigy 7ch rx ( I had a spare 1) casing to squeeze it under the central carbon (fibre?) shaft. A smaller rx with end pins would be a better option. 950mAh 2s nanotech fits perfect with rx below the shaft. My elevator/rudder mount is perfectly aligned with the wings so either I got lucky or the mis-alignment issue has been fixed. Yet to maiden (crash) it yet but will report back when I manage to get the opportunity

Got my Belle yesterday; it sounds lame, but the packaging was excellent, probably the most thorough job I've seen. Still, one wing tip was slightly damaged, probably during packing. Assembly was very easy but there were some issues; the tail assembly was tilted to the right by several degrees; this seems to be a very common problem and HK needs to take care of it. For small deviations like I found on mine, it doesn't affect handling, but it spoils the looks of the model. Not good advertising! Also, the LG legs only go in one way...but the instructions are vague about which way is which. That took a little time to work out. Flying the maiden this morning, I discovered a bad vibration in the motor at high power settings...found it was probably due to the prop not being firmly seated on the hex shaft on the motor. Fixed that and now the motor runs beautifully. Even with a noisy motor, the first flight was very nice. The plane is really beautiful in the air and it is extremely stable, turns well, and glides so nicely that I am seriously thinking about putting a folding prop on it. If HK fixes these small issues, they will have a great airplane; as it is, it's a very good one!

As another reviewer pointed out about the motor being bad, I had the same thing happen to me. I had problems with the engine running smoothly. I flew it today and I knew immediately something was wrong and as I was landing I could see the motor hanging down I knew I had a problem. The bearing had gone bad causing stress on the engine mount and the mount screws were torn out of the mount. I could see them sticking to the back of the motor. Whether to rebuild and fly again or write it off and get a different plane is the question. AlsoI think that the landing gear mounting system is terrible.

Two issues.

1) Tail heavy with a 2S 1300 battery barely fitting in there.

2) No visible way to change props. The included wrench isn't big enough to grasp the nut on the prop shaft.

Any help?
Thanks.
