Following on from the other Malyan range of incredible 3D printers is the Malyan M200. This exciting and futuristic looking printer is state of the art and can even be controlled remotely using wifi or anywhere, anytime from your Smartphone using the "Malyan 3D Craft" APP. The M200 offers exceptional value for money and with its metal frame, robust construction and high precision extruder it is the must have choice for hobbyists and designers.

This 3D printer is incredibly easy to use, just load your file from either an SD card and start manually using the wide angle IPS color LCD screen and rotary selection knob, USB or wirelessly from your computer or via the APP, then start the print and it is as easy as that. By using your Smarthphone you can operate the printer anywhere at anytime, receive information of the printing process and share STL files. The M200 is suitable for printing with 1.75mm ABS and PLA filaments up to  a maximum speed of 180mm/Sec.

Brilliant Value

Nov 24, 2019

For a first foray into 3-D printing this must be hard to beat and it's outstanding value whilst on offer. It just works straight out of the box and doesn't take up too much space on the bench. Print quality is better than I expected for an entry-level printer. I've had a couple of failures due to lack of adhesion but that's all part of the learning exercise to get the settings right. I'm glad I bought some spare bed tape sheets as the one it came with tore after a couple of prints. The blue Turnigy ones work well and you can get 2 out of each sheet. The interface is clear and the turn & click knob that has been criticised on earlier models for being to shallow to grip works fine so it may have been modified. My only problem to date is a blocked nozzle after trying to change filaments: the manual could be better in tis respect. However, there are plenty of tips on-line and it was reasonably easy to strip down and clean the nozzle. Overall, I'm not disappointed and having fun with it, even printing some own-design servo mounts and other useful widgets using free Tinkercad and Cura. It doesn't pretend to compete with others more than twice the size and price so it gets 5 stars from me.

Very nice desktop little 3D printer

Jan 09, 2019

I use my Malyan M200 for more than one year now and i'm VERY pleased with it.
It works very nice, print pretty well (i use HK filament). Rather small print voume (120 x 120x 120mm) but very nice to print usual R/C parts or small objects.
I like a lot her small size and the fact that except to add a glass bed (because the genuine bed is not very flat) there is no mods to do to this printer to enjoy good quality printed object.
Not 5 star on quality and Overall because of the non-flat bed and because she's a bit noisy when printing because of the metallic body.
You want to give a try in the 3D printing world but don't want to spend much ? Go with the M200, she's a pretty good little printer, i highly recommand you will not be desapointed !

Prima 3d Drucker für den Schreibtisch

Dec 19, 2018

Nice printer for the price

May 22, 2018

I had a problem with the main board: after few minutes an axis would move only in one direction for both left/ right "commands".
Positively surprised by HK support, they sent a replacement board that is working fine so far.
Other minor annoyance is the cooling fan that seems unbalanced, it's quite noisy when goes up to 100%, partially solved by limiting the max speed in Cura.
Forget about using the wifi for gcode file transfer, is really slow, just use the provided microSD.
Nothing else negative to add!
Prints, with minor settings tweaks, are ok; noise is acceptable(exept cooling fan) and assembly looks solid, no loose parts.

nice printer but not perfect

May 21, 2018

I bought one in july 2017 , had some glitches/trouble in december and now its useless , Malyan offers a warranty of 6 months which is ridiculous after that huges prices for replacement parts. No more malyan for me better save for a well known brand in 3d printing.
After some modifications its printed almost perfect, ABS , PLA , PETG and even NinjaFlex.
If you want a cheap printer buy this one but dont expect a printer for long terms its a toy.

Impressive for the price

Dec 23, 2017

As a pessimist, I will start from "what is horrible?" and then I will continue with "what is tolerable?" and then I will finalize with "what is good?".
What is horrible? - Well, the micro SD card that came with the printer is pure rubbish. OK, I see that they wanted to make a cheap 3D printer but what is the point of including a card which supposed to be 1GB but in fact is 128MB? :D For mine, about 89MB of it is usable after some partitioning tricks. Good enough - but I ended up having some incomplete prints before figuring it out. Just be aware. - Further on the previous topic, it is picky about SD cards. So, I am stuck with the original SD cart at the moment.
What is tolerable? - It rattles sometimes. Slightly annoying - but not a deal breaker. - HTTP interface is slow. OK, the interface is not slow but uploads can take forever. That is slow. - Some parts feel flimsy. But again, it doesn't cause any harm.
What is good? - The prints. They are good :) I have consumed over 1kg of PLA so far (in about 2 weeks) and I haven't experienced any problems with printing. - It is compatible with the default drivers of Windows 10. So, you can use Windows 3D printing tools as well. However, you need to edit some XML files beforehand :) Also, it requires a computer to be plugged in all the time. - Size. It is small and it doesn't take too much space on the table. This is maybe not a problem for those who live in huge apartments but I live in a small student apartment and it matters for me :) Besides, it's quiet enough (I am being subjective here). - Community. This machine has a community (google: monoprice select mini). For example, some people have made some extensions to it. So, you can increase printing area after buying it :)
