Hobby kings preferred method of customer service is to cut you off. There are no recomended motors for this frame because, the don't sell any!

Newbie bought this frame to save the guessing work but i was wrong! Managed to go around solving which goes where after much effort & learning to hover now. Besides a problem with the #4 esc this board is super tough! Crashed many times & it's still flying! Newbies can try first hand on what quad is all about with this frame, provided someone help you assemble it!

Very good micro frame. The Escs are smooth and the LEDs are cool !
I have mine set up with 1510 2200 kv outrunner and an Acro N a z e 32 FC ... = very crisp response. Good value.

not a good frame, holes don't allow mounting for turnigy motor recommended for this frame, the esc's timing is also wrong, even with simon k TYG6A flashed to all esc's still no good, the frame is currently in folded bits in the bin

This PCB frame is way better than this white pcb microquad crap.
So far I've only changed some of the screws for a metal ones.

Nice and stable frame. Cool LEDs. The ESCs are not build to last long. I have it running with Turnigy 2211 2300kv motors, 5030 HK Propellers and HobbyKing 6A ESCs (SimonK). The motors can be mounted using a 10mm drill and some glue. The total current on 3s 35c 850mAh is 20A. This setup still kills the original ESCs after maybe 20-30 flights.

The Frame on this littlw quad is just OK. The motor mounting holes are odd and most motors require ziptie/glue mounting. Multistar 1704-1900 kv motors fit perfectly and fly this quad with authority with 5x4.5x3 propellers.

The integrated ESC's are a joke. I had nothing but trouble with a lazy ESC on one arm that absolutely wouldn't calibrate to the same throttle range a sthe other ESC's. I flashed SimonK firmware to the quad in an effort to fix the issue. The quad flew for all of 10 seconds before the same lazy ESC blew up.

I ended up going to 12A HK Blue Series ESC's flashed with SimonK and just use this integrated quad as a frame and it's become my go-to quad. So much so that I haven't wanted to fly my 330 quad or my much better equiped 500mm.

Overall, the frame is pretty durable. I have dumped this several times, once yesterday from about 50 feet up directly inverted and it's more-or-less survived intact. The nylon screws serve as engineered break points to prevent the arms from breaking.

If you buy one ,get two. buy EXTRA 3mm screws and extra 30mm spacers because the legs will break a lot. I now just removed the legs and used screws and hand-launch.

Was missing bag of 24 screws. Could not finish it without them. Tested the escs. Burnt 1 esc out on 3s. 2s was good, but too late now. Guys, don't push the escs over 5 amps to be safe. Max 20 amps in total. Happened to me. I would rate 5 for quality, but after 3s test, it's not your safe bet. Still very disappointed quality of inventory check before they sent it. Now I have to buy my own nylon screws and separate escs. Buyer's be aware and beware.

Not the best but it's ok! I can't assembly the turnigy 1811 direct on the frame, but, i have same ideas to do it!
