Very compact and lightweight. Will work with one or both leads connected to motor wires. Can be used with servo extension to lengthen. Great value!

It's a good way to log your brushless system RPM. I used also optical sensor and this one more accurate.

Connecting to a V3 logger is simple. Soldered short pins to sensor leads and stuck thru motor insulation. Lead 1 did not work. Lead 2 works very well. RPMs match optical tach. Used optical tach to get the right number of mags on outrunner to calibrate. I plan to use in test rig and in flight.
