Brushless Motor RPM Sensor
Tiny sensor measures RPM by simply connecting a wire from one of your brushless electric motor leads to the sensor. This connection is just a tap (not inline) which simplifies installation.

http://www.eagletreesystems.com/Support/apps.htmConnecting to a V3 logger is simple. Soldered short pins to sensor leads and stuck thru motor insulation. Lead 1 did not work. Lead 2 works very well. RPMs match optical tach. Used optical tach to get the right number of mags on outrunner to calibrate. I plan to use in test rig and in flight.
