This tiny Mig 15 is amazing, EPO foam combined with it's featherweight stats means it will be very forgiving of the odd less than 100% landing. The 35mm Fan Unit & ESC are pre-installed as are the aileron and elevator servo's, the model comes in 1 piece so all you have to do when it arrives is connect the control rods, hook up the RC equipment to a Reciever that uses Micro Molex 3 Pin conectors, such as the HobbyKing OrnageRX 4 Channel Micro reciever and you are ready to go...... where were we? Ah yes, Dogfighting with the new Micro F-86 Sabre in the local park, basketball court, in fact pretty well anywhere, these models are an absolute hoot when flown with friends!

The box the model arrives in is really handy for not only transporting the model to prevent hanger rash but the spare pockets in the packing foam are ideal for carrying spare Lipoly's and you will have so much fun with this, I would carry a few! This Mig is so cute, even your Wife will like it!

Absolute piece of trash. Bought it in the cyber Monday sale.
1. Horizontal stabilizer was at a 20 degree angle.
2. CoG is so far back that it is impossible to fly. Literally launched it and it just dropped on it's arse on full power.
3. Having fixed CoG, plane is now too heavy and under powered to fly.

To anyone from Hobbyking that reads this, how can you even sell this knowing it's under powered and un-flyable.

Honestly, don't bother buying it. Would have been better spending the extra $20 for the E-flite MiG 15.

this was a serious dissapointment. It is very underpowered and the build quality is pathetic. You basically need to land it in snow or someting because the first landing snaps off the refueling dorgue on the nose. The ducted fan is not powerful enough to keep it in a climb for any serious manoevres. The servos are dodgy and drift alot. The linkages to the rudder and elevator bind easily. The elevator servo has too little room in the body of the aircraft so when you fit battery and receiver in there you ofteen jam the servo arm. This product fooled me because it looked like a nice product I had seen in a shop window and I was foolish to think I could cut the corner and order it directly. I regret this purchase.

Nice little micro EDF for the price. The model goes together quickly and easily. The cockpit area is a tight fit with the battery and RX so you may need to do a little carving to get it all to fit. It is a little difficult to launch as it tends to pitch up then nose in hard, so expect to have to try it a couple of times to find the CG. Once you get it launched and up to speed it flies well. The stock ESC using a 2S battery is a OK but feels a little underpowered. I wound up taking the drop tanks off to save a bit on the weight (they snap off anyway if you have any unplanned landings.) The push rods for the elevator have a lot of flex in them, so if you want to fly aggressively you'll probably want to install some longer guide tubes to keep them moving in line. The foam in the nose is relatively thin and gets bent out of shape very easily on crashes, but so far this hasn't impacted performance. All in all I'm pleased with this model, you definitely get what you pay for but I'm glad to have an ultra-micro EDF I can fly at the ball field.

Ok I've had a chance to fly the mig now and WOW it flies real nice I had to put a dime weight on the nose its a little tail heavy but after the dime it flies real nice the biggest issue was battery 20c will fly it but the Thunder Power 325mah 65c 2 cell was the perfect battery it fits almost perfect and the power difference very noticable any way she flies great now with over 25 flights happy flying.

A little helpful hint: If you receive your jet with warped wings or tails take hot water not boiling hot but almost to boiling if the water is too hot the individual foam cells will expand too much creating a bubbly or snake skin look.and carefully using a turkey baster or ladle pour over area careful not to get water on any electronics. you will notice the area will straighten out. If not work it by flexing to desired angle "good luck" Oh this process also helps in repairing damaged(compressed) foam from bad landing or crashes
