would be five stars if 10 bucks cheaper. this stand off shaft allows mounting into miost all fans. plus ti has added advantage of a weight 2 to three inches forward due to longer shaft. it screems like yuo mama.

Based on appearance I would rate this a five with its nice thick gauge wires that appear tightly wound and carbon/plastic surround but my main concern is performance and not what they look like so I give it 1 star. Using 2 different Phoenix 60's the motor chatters on start-up and often makes a terrible squeal if the throttle is advanced too quickly, I've tried various timing settings and even re-soldered the bullet connectors with no luck.

Although it felt tight and looked like a quality product, it broke during assembly of the fan. It now makes a loud screaming sound (even out of the fan) and is unusable now. The lock-ring on the shaft keeping the thing together was either missing or fell off during the assembly.

Stick to the Turnigy's guys!

Used this in a Alfa Mig with the blue 5 blade rotor and the motor smoked after the third flight. Still waiting to see if hoffman is going to replace it. Thumbs down in my opinion.

The motor I received was poorly constructed and two of the phase wires were broken and only being held together by the heat shrink tubing.
