Out of the box this has some major problems. There was no y-harness for the ailerons, and the servo leads went just to the wing base near the fuse(they were not long enough to get inside the fuse at all). I had to get my own servo extensions/y-harness to complete the ailerons. The pushrods for the elevator are very flimsy, and although they would pull just fine, they would not push at all with any force(they just bend up inside body).

Have made several flights till now, after the first flights the esc got really hot , now i took of the shrink and made a small cooling hole and all is ok.

it flyes surprisingly well, no stall or any bad manners. i don't regret the buy at all :)

it is really different from those crappy fighterjets most ppl have

unique model, and nice to see that hobby city offers a pnp version. 20mm x 40mm gold inrunner pulls about 20+ amps in the stock fan. Esc heat shrink wrap is yellow and simply labled as 30amps. This is the fragile, but light eps foam. Hobby city shipped it fine, but mine was chipped out of the box. Also the fan was dislodged and needed to be glued back in. I think I'll mod the dorsal fin, and add some teeth, etc. :)

Funny thing! But check ailerons. The hinges are tape that are not very well glued, so give them a little extra glue. And fly!

Shark Jet - Very Cool plane . bought for my son amperage good, 24 amps on 3s lipo. after 2 flights motor got hot melted mounting bracket, fan locked up and jammed burning motor and causing crash.

Not Hobby King fault they did not make it. Manufacturer needs to address motor selection.

My son is so sad he loved this plane, cannot afford to replace it.
