These LEDs are way bright and they flash in colors and patterns. They are really only for looks and night visual tracking and are more for flash than function. They work on 5 v and all four of the one I bought work great. Worth the money spent.

This little light works great on 6v, tried it on my 2s lipo pack that had a 7.7v charge and it burnt out after two flashes. Only bought it because it said it's good for 8.5v....I think HK should revise the voltage capabilities of this light as it can't handle even close to 8.5 volts.

This is a simple color changing LED like is on some of the small copters. The lens is water clear and the best viewing angle is from the top. If you want to mount it with a wide angle of view, from the side for example, use some fine sand paper all around the lens.

I just got these and I like the slow blink, the fast blinks make me feel like it's going to give me a seizure. Not good since the fast blinks are also a bit too distracting. If any one can tell me how to just keep the slow blinks let me know. I like them but they will be better if the faster blink can be turned off. Other than that they are cheap and seem to work. I just got one installed on my heli tail, but if it gets annoying I will have to take it off.

awesome little leds, very bright and cheap. i cant see why you would not get them, they make your rc look so much cooler and if you need more ports on your receiver then have a look at the hobbyking servo y leads, 5 pack for $3 is dirt cheap. great quality and just an all round great product.

Thanks Hobbyking!!

I bought one of these just to add some "intrest" to my model helicopter, I must say I was impressed when I first plugged it in as it is very bright and will be easy to see in daylight. The LED flashes and changes colour in different sequencies, I just plugged mine into a spare reciever channel so it goes all the time my battery is plugged in. It may not be scale, but to be honest, except for the pureist, who is going to know, it looks good.
