Introducing the Multistar carbon fiber propeller series. Because the carbon construction is so much stronger, we can make the props ultra thin allowing these props to offer increased performance with reduced current draw and increased efficiency. Perfect for your multirotor project, these 9x5 inch props are incredibly stiff and very well made using top quality carbon fiber. They feature a tight weave giving maximum strength and are pre-balanced so you can just bolt them on and away you go.

Specs:
Diameter: 9 inch
Pitch: 5 inch
Hub Thickness: 7.0mm
Shaft Diameter: 5~6mm (with adapters)
Weight: 7g each propeller

Note: These props are for electric use only.

  • Propeller Diameter X(Inch) 9.00
  • Propeller Pitch Y(Inch) 5.00
  • Rotation CW/CCW

I bought 4 packs of these props. 1 single blade was actually balanced. All the others needed to be balanced and for most of them, it was a significant amount. The description should be amended as these are definitely not balanced. Other than that, thy look great. Mine did come with the logos as shown in the pic. 4 stars due to balancing required when stated otherwise.

I have used cheap GemFan 9x4.7 plastic props before and now switched to these 9x5 CFK props.

Some things to note:
1) Forget about the "prebalanced", each one needed sanding in order to get balanced.
2) These props generate a lot less lift than the GemFan props. With the GemFan 9x4.7, my Quad would hover at about 40pcnt throttle, with these it needs about 70pcnt throttle.
3) The quad sounds a lot quieter with these props and I thing it flies better. However, with these props I have more vibrations than with the GemFan ones (both props were balanced). I believe the reason is, that these props need to spin much faster (because they generate less lift) than the GemFan props. Vibrations are still well controlled.

All in all, they are good value for the money. Where else would you get CFK props that cheap? I have now additionally ordered the 10x5 ones, since they are a better replacement for the GemFan 9x4.7 props I believe.

The props arrived un-damaged, however are not as shown in the product photos here. No "Multistar Logo" These props were generic. The center hub holes are not really round, more oval. And the price dropped the same day I bought them and I still paid full original price ($8/pair)

I am running a F450 Flamewheel style chassis. With a 2650Mah pack (tiny) and just the weight of my FC, sunnysky980's, 40amp hobbywing ESC's, and 9X receiver, these props will not even generate enough lift to hover under full throttle. Usually on SF 10x4.5's I hover at around 1/4 throttle. Also these props caused moderate to severe oscillation, resulting in the quad yawing to the right automatically and severely so, when turning with yaw input. Will not buy these again.

I think it's something wrong with aerodynamic shape of this propeller.
My Quad flies very well with plastic propeller 9x4.7 but is practically uncontrollable with 9x5 Multistar carbon fiber propellers. Balancing is good though.
I will not buy anymore this type of propeller.

Excellent multirotor propeller, using them on a tbs disco clone with ss x2212-13 980kv motors. I had the apc mr props but had to much flex and seemed to create lots of oscillation. It's a lot more stable and locked in with these props. Didn't take to much to balance:)
